Kara had been walking for about five to ten minutes by the time she reached L-Corp. She took a deep breath, approaching the building and walking inside. The blonde was a lot more shy when it came to her reporter side of things, in comparison to when she was Supergirl and saving the world from bad. As she got inside, she looked around. L-Corp was certainly a lot bigger than she imagined it to have been, and from what it looked like outside. The receptionist, whom was working away at her computer on something important, looked up briefly to see another woman that she did not recognise. "Hello! May I help you?" Jess, Lena's receptionist, asked from behind her desk. Kara immediately looked over to where she heard the voice come from. "Oh hello!" She said in return, with a smile on her face. "I'm Kara Danvers, I was sent here by Ms. Grant to interview Ms. Luthor about something." She explained to the receptionist the reason as to why she was here. Jess nodded, before standing up from her desk. "Ms. Luthor is in her office. Let me just go and check whether she is busy or not." She said and walked over to Lena's office door, with Kara also following her but not too closely. Jess knocked and waited to be acknowledged before she walked in. "Are you busy?" She questioned. "Because Ms. Danvers is here to interview you."

Lena Luthor had been typing away on her computer, finishing off some of the last touches for her newest project, when she heard her assistant come in her office. "No, I'm not really busy." She said, shaking her in. "Send her in." Jess nodded and walked back out of the office, sending Kara in as she walked back over to her desk, to continue with her own work. Kara nodded, as she walked into the office closing the door behind her. She walked over to Lena's desk. "Hi! I'm Kara Danvers." The blonde told her, stretching her arm out in order to shake the other woman's hand.  "It's a pleasure to meet you, Ms Danvers." Lena said, as she carefully took Kara's hand into her own and shook her hand. "Please, take a seat." She added. After the two had exchanged a hand shake, Kara sat down opposite Lena. Lena briefly stood up from her desk and walked over to the mini bar that she had in her office. "Can I get you anything at all?" She asked Kara, as she refilled her glass of wine. This was what usually got her through her long days at work. For her, it was early mornings and late nights. Kara just shook her head. "No, thank you." She said to her. "I really just want to get this interview over and done with, so I can get back to Catco." She told her honestly. The only thing that she had actually left out here was the fact that she was still hesitant on being here, after the stories she had been hearing about the Luthor family. Lena nodded and walked back over to her desk, taking a seat. Sipping her wine, she then placed the glass down on the desk in front of her.  "So, tell me, Ms. Danvers. How can I help you today?" She asked.

Lena had been in National City for just over a week now, and so far, she had made zero friends. She had figured that it was because of her past, and the people that she was related to, they were basically "world famous" I guess you could say. And it wasn't for good things like you think it would be, neither. Despite this, Lena had been busy setting up her company and catching up on paperwork too, so maybe that was the reason she was yet to make any friends. No matter where the woman went, she always found it difficult to make friends. That's why she hated moving around so much, but she had no other choice. Lena felt like it made her look suspicious in some way. Like she was involved in all of the illegal activities that her family did. But, of course, she wasn't. Just before the move to National City, Lena's brother, Lex, had been arrested in Metropolis. With the help of Superman. About time, Lena had thought and was relieved by it. She could never admit this to anybody though, I mean her mother already hated her enough. This was the reason Lena moved the company to National City. Her father, Lionel Luthor was the founder and original owner of Luthor Corp, before his passing. After that, it had been passed down to Lex Luthor. That was when things took a turn for the worst and started to go downhill. Now with Lex in jail, it was Lena's turned. Not only had she moved the whole company to National City, but she had also changed the name to L-Corp. The woman was now trying to make a name for herself outside of her family. Whenever people heard the name "Luthor", she wanted them to think good things of her and not what her brother did. She was here trying to fix all of those mistakes, which meant for her gaining people's trust, no matter how hard it was.

"Your new project.." Kara started off. "Ms Gran sent me here to ask you a few questions about it and what you plan to do." She said, opening up her reporters notebook to a brand new page. she planned on getting enough information out of Lena to impress Cat, even if Lena planned on keeping it on the down-low until the public event that had been organised. "Okay, normally, I wouldn't do this." Lena told Kara, sitting back in her spinny chair, as she took another sip of her wine. "But you, Ms. Danvers, I have heard that you are one of the best reporters in the whole of National City. Maybe even the world."

Kara chuckled slightly. "Ohh- I wouldn't say the whole world.. yes maybe National City, but definitely not the world." She said. "I'm sure there are people somewhere around the world who have better reporting skills than I do." She nodded, as she glanced down at her notebook, once again fixing her glasses. "So.. first question." Kara started off. "What is the project that you have came up with?" She asked, and at the same time writing it down so she wouldn't forget what she had asked her later on when she came to type an article relating to this, also leaving some space to write Lena's answer down.

Lena took a deep breath, before she started to explain to Kara what it was that she had came up with. She honestly wasn't sure if people would agree with her, but he world deserved to know who they were safe and not safe around. Especially all of the chaos that had been going down in National City recently. There were definitely some bad aliens around, and humans weren't necessarily strong enough to be safe around them. The whole idea of Lena Luthor's project. She placed her wine glass down on her desk and glanced at Kara. "I've came up with a small, advanced handheld alien technology." She told her. Kara nodded, as she wrote Lena's answer down in note form, ready for later when Cat would want her to write an article based on this.

"And why did you come up with this device?" Kara asked, taking one quick glance at Lena, before looking back down at her notebook again, writing down the question like she did with the previous one. Once Lena started talking again, Kara looked up at her, tilting her head to the side.

"Well.. I just thought that the human population should know what they're up again." Lena told her. "Despite there being a lot of aliens now on this planet, we still have way more humans. Everybody should know who they can and can't trust. Who they'll be safe around." She nodded, explaining the whole process to the reporter. "Then, at the end of the day, it's their choice if they still want to trust an alien."

Kara nodded, doing what she did before and writing Lena's answer down in note form. "One final question-" she told Lena. "How does it work?" She asked and smiled. Lena gently pushed her chair out from behind her desk, hearing what Kara's last question was.

"Well, I have a trial run device sitting it one of the cupboards." Lena told Kara. "Let me just get it out, and I'll show you." She said, walking over to the cupboard and taking the small handheld device out. Kara watched every move Lena made, not wanting to miss a second of what Lena was talking about with her newest project. The dark haired woman then walked back over to Kara, slightly sitting herself on the edge of her desk, to show her how it worked. "The way this works is... you put your thumb on this little bit here." She said, showing her where exactly to put it. "And then, this is what a negative result is." She said, as a green light appeared. Lena smiled, proud of the work that she had accomplished with this new device. It still wasn't quite finished, but it nearly was. And hopefully it would be within the next couple of days before the public event Lena had organised to show this off to the world. "Now, you try it." She said, turning it around to Kara. Lena had ever only tried to see if it worked on herself, it would be useful to try it on others too. Kara made for the perfect person, considering she was doing this interview.

Kara was hesitant on trying it, as she looked at the device Lena was holding out to her. "Me?" She questioned confused. "Maybe you should keep it until your event." She was trying to find some way of getting out of it, considering Kara knew fine well that she wasn't human. If that came back as a positive result, she may start being seen as a bad guy. She never intended to ruin people's lives as Supergirl, she wanted to save them.

Lena nodded. "Well, I would appreciate it if you did try it." She said. "You see, I've only ever tried it on myself and I want to know of it works on others too, and not just myself." Kara understood where Lena was coming from, so she hesitantly leaned forward and slowly placed her thumb on. She closed her eyes, nervously waiting for it. The light started flickering between both green and red. Green meaning they weren't alien, and red meaning they were. This seemed to not be able to make up it's mind whether Kara was human or not. Only she knew differently in this situation.
