Unexpected reunion

"Your order will be ready in a few minutes and what's your name?" The barista asks

"Marinette" I reply even tho I know they will spell in wrong.

I go back to sit down while I wait for my order. I am about to go on my phone to pass the time but then I spot someone standing leaning on the wall on his phone. The guy looked really fimiliar but I couldn't put my finger on it. Blond hair. Green eyes. Tall and strong build. He was attractive but obviously not as hot as my boyfriend. A smile makes its way on my face as I think of him. 

I look back at the guy and it suddenly clicked. He looked like Adrien. I haven't seen him in so long because of our separate colleges and his over protective father and our jobs and everything else we just haven't kept in touch.

I look at him to see him staring back at me like he also regonizes me. Now I am sure it's him but before I can go say hey the barista calls out. "Loid! Order for Loid!"

The guy looks at the barista and goes and gets the drink. I frown I guess it wasn't Adrien after all.

"Marinette! Order for Marinette" I heard the barista call.

I walked over to the barista to get the coffee. I am about leave when the guy from before stops me. "Hey"

"Hello?" I reply.

"You are Marinette Dupain-Cheng right?"

"Yeah I am. Do I know you?"

"It's me Adrien. Come on you didn't forget me did you?" He joked.

My eyes widened "wait really? Because I thought it was you but then the Barista called you 'loid' "

"Well can't exactly tell everyone in the cafe that I am Adrien Agreste now can I" he said.

"So it was you I knew it I haven't seen you in so long how has it been? Where have you been? And you are so much taller what the heck." I rambled excited. 

"Well it's been good, I convinced my father to let me go to college now I only work there part time and yup I have grown taller since now I eat properly and you are just as short as before."

"I am not I have also grown" I reply to which Adrien just chuckled.

"Also I am really happy for you. You are going to college and eating properly I am proud of you" I say patting his head 

"You should be, you always use to tell me to eat more" he chuckled.

I put my coffee on the table and then give him the biggest hug I can which he returns.

"I really want to freak out you have no idea how excited I am to see you again but I really don't want to grab everyone attention" I said pulling away.

"Me too it has been so long since I have talk to any of you guys. I just couldn't keep on touch properly. I talk to Nino every once in awhile but I haven't kept on touch with you at all. Sorry" he said.

"No need to be sorry I also didn't keep in touch, college and the internship just takes up all my time I have hardly kept in touch with Alya" I replied.

"Do you have anywhere to be, if not I would love to talk and catch up" he said sitting in a free seat.

"No I was just going back to my apartment from my internship" I said sitting in the seat in front of him.

"That's awesome, where are you doing your internship?" He asked.

"Oh I work for the 'Browyns". You know the company that recently started taking off"

"You mean like 'The Browyns'?" Adrien asked.

"Yeah they gave me a nice internship offer and I took it they are pretty popular. Why are you asking this"
