"Maybe we don't have to talk about this in front of everybody. Let's just go out into the hall-" Angela Moore practically begs her boyfriend as she grips his arm attempting to pull him towards the apartment's front door, however, her plea is cut off because Shawn Hunter is not having it. In his fit of annoyance and drunkenness, he shoves his girlfriend against said door.
The thud that resounds is deafening.
He can't look her in the eyes.
The black girl bites back tears, and quietly says:
"I don't like that you drink. Call me when you don't," and bolts out of the apartment that the boy she loved and trusted to not break her belief in lives.
Topanga looks at her ex-boyfriend Cory and Shawn's brother Jack and when she sees none of them reacting pushes past all of them including Shawn, calling out "Angela!" As she runs after her best friend.
Shawn has not moved his eyes from where his beautifulwonderfulcaring girlfriend had hit the door and finally tears his eyes away to look his brother in the eye and asks: "how did that just happen?" With watery eyes and a wavering voice.
He hurt the love of his life.
He put his hands on her.
He's just like his father,
He's just like Chet if what Jack just shared is true.
"Shawnie..." his best friend Cory starts but trails off.
He doesn't know how to fix this kind of mess.
"I need to go after her," the wide blue-eyed 18-year-old starts, making his way to the offending door but is held back by strong arms.
Jack.
"Let her process, Shawn. The same way you need to," his brother says softly.
Turning to face the only other people in his home Shawn deflates, dropping the bottle of beer he had in his hand and collapsing onto the floor.
"I hurt her..." he whispers to himself, barely feeling when his best friend and brother join him on the floor, hands on each of his shoulders.

Author's note: I wrote this because I just started watching boy meets world and Angela is my favorite character and her ship with Shawn is my favorite however when he pushed her against the door when he was drunk and he gave Mr. Feeney an apple and he sent Topanga a fruit basket but all we got to see or hear about Angela was nothing but a cheeky smile I realized I needed to write this so he can really think of what he's done and how it could've affected her
