A cold winter morning with the dread of school, Highschool to be more precise. What's even worse is that I don't have my homework done, and I'm missing the work book I borrowed, that I am supposed to bring back to my teacher today!

I sigh as I slowly get up from my bed, blanket still lapped onto me. I gaze out the window and catch snowflakes falling down. Maybe we'll get out to school, just maybe.

I walk through the hallways, my blanket draping behind me as if it's a cape. I drop it onto the floor, the cold air quickly taking a shot to freeze me. I shiver as I head I to the bathroom.

I brush my teeth, my eyes drooping as the light from the ceiling practically blinds me. I untangle my hair and fluff it to make it seem natural to how it's normally like.

"Light!" My sister yells, knocking on the door. "Yeah?" I respond. "I need to use the bathroom." She says. I finish up quickly and exit the bathroom; my sister walks in quickly afterwards.

I hurry downstairs and into the dining room. My mother and father sat at the table eating some waffles. "Morning, Ma! Morning, Pa!" I greet, sitting down as well. "Morning, Light!" Mom greets back; Dad just grunts.

I stab a peice of the eggo waffle with my fork, biting into the maple covered bread. "Where's your sister?" My dad asks, grudgingly. "Probs still in the bathroom." I answer, my mouth still full of waffle. "Don't eat with your mouth full, dear." My mom acknowledges.

I roll my eyes, swallowing my waffle. I quickly take in another bite. The chair beside me screeches while it's pulled across the tiled floor; my sister sat in it, stuffing her face with the waffles with haste.

"Chillax, Alex," I mention, "the bus isn't even here." I catch Alex just rolling her eyes and going back to downing her plate. I roll my eyes back and finish my remaining eggo. I grab my napkin and try my best to wipe off any remaining syrup. "That won't work, Light, damp a towel or something." My mom tells me.

I get up and dampen a towel (just like she said), rubbing off the sticky syrup and any other crumbs that could have attached to me. I place down the rag and wash my hands as well. Alex gets up and does the same, just as soon as she's finished though, she rushes back into the bathroom. Probably to do her make-up.

I head over to the front door and crouch down to the cubby. I grab my shoes and bag; tying the shoes on and setting the bag onto my shoulder. I sit down onto the cushions (the cushions are on top of the cubby), watching out for the bus to arrive.

Alex comes by and puts on her shoes and gets her stylish bag. I look back out to the window and catch the bus pulling up onto the lot. "Aha! Bus is here!" I sing, hopping up from my seat and rushing out the door.

I wait for the bus doors to open and climb the steps. "Your sister not coming today?" The bus driver asks. I shake my head and continue walking down the aisle. I sit down where my sister and I usually sit. I hear the bus doors close and look up to see my sister just sitting down.

"Hey, no fair, you said I could have window." Alex pouts, I roll my eyes in response and switch places with her. I slyly take out my sketchbook and draw in it. Two boys; one with purple hair, one with white hair.
