quick a/n: this story is set after season three, but i changed a couple of things because i felt like it:
- Hopper is still alive and well in Hawkins, El still lives with him in the cabin and doesn't go to high school because that's ridiculous (sorry duffer brothers xx)
- will, joyce and jonathan still live in Hawkins
- the story is, as i said, set after season three. everything that happened in season three, happened in my fic as well, except for hopper 'dying' because i say so.
- AND MOST IMPORTANTLY i could not shake the idea of will listening to conan gray and cave town and taylor swift so i have decided that modern day music existed in the eighties. SO will listens to kid know. And it's the eighties. Deal with it :-)
- i might've forgotten some other things, but i can't think of anything else i changed as of right now
- you are welcome to imagine will without the bowlcut
- each chapter has a song assigned to it :-)
