Sees that a light brown kinda dirty dress on her bed
I wonder if this was my mom's dress from back then and Well it's something.
"Well I see you look like a younger me, my beautiful girl"
"Your dad would've have said the same thing"
"Mom stop, you know you didn't have to go all out on this dress plus it's reaping"
"Well honey you look amazing in it"
"And why not your not gonna be reaped my love plum"
"Mo-m"
"Yes honey?"
My mom gives me a look of questioning
Sometimes I just want to tell her how I feel about my father death.
"Why did we have to move to move in the outer Poor side of district 7"
My mom looks like at me Disbelief, it looks like she had seen a ghost.
"Uh honey you know we had money problems ever since ur father dead in that forest fire, and I know it may be hard to handle ur fathers death it really took an impact on our life and us having to move in the poorest side of the district and I'm trying to get money so we have enough to go back and pay off our house we once had"
Within that moment I just wanted to cry and scream
Because it did make an impact in my life.He was always there for me and helped me in everything even when I didn't need it.My mom gives me the biggest hug ever and tells me "don't worry everything will be good my darling, I will protect this family and fend for us".
