After they take my fingerprint, I start walking off to the girls side with the other 13-year-old girls from my district.I could almost see a 12-year-old crying for her mother but all you see is the peacekeeper pulling a gun and telling her to be quite.she stayed quite, you could see how terrified she looked when he did that.

I the center of the stage you can see a young woman dressed up in bright colors and her makeup was really unique maybe because she's from the capital

I started to feel uneasy about this years reaping

But I snapped out of it and I slowly walk up to the stage still in disbelief in how I got chosen for these games I heard crying in the background I was assuming it was my mother and it was her she was bawling her eyes out you can almost see and how much pain she was.And I felt bad because I was her only daughter she had and I almost look similar like my father did and her seeing me get reaped destroyed her more than Ever.

Once I finally get on stage and she said "wonderful wonderful I see that we have here a small little girl with a lot potential in these games"

Meanwhile I was still starstruck she went on to go to the boys reaping bowl and pulled out a name after a while she said "Luis, Luis FortWorth" he was in the middle of section of the 16-year-olds.you could see he was only putting a face but in his eyes you can see that he was wanting to cry but he made his way up the stage and scarlet gave a big smile and said "these are this years tributes of the 2nd annal hunger games"

Half of me wants to say this is a dream but it hits me that I could die In games and leave my mom and little brother and josh alone and I knew what I had to do to get out of these games.
