Saturday 12:00 pm
The glistening of sun shined through the windows. Cynthia, Ava, Brooke and Crystal all slept over at Adrianna's hotel. The yawn's of drowsiness sequenced in a pattern. The alarm was off today. The smell of alcohol running through the room from only 3 hours ago. Twelve thirty and they are still tired. A party occurred once again. "Why does it seem like we always wake up with hangovers." Ava cried. Adrianna walked in to her bathroom dodging all the cups and pizza. She checks her phone, "1 new message from: Justin."
Justin: Lunch at 1 today?
Justin and Adrianna have been on one date. The other girls don't know yet. Before Adrianna could text back, "CRASH!" This crash was heart throbbing, unexacting and heart racing, a sound of an earthquake mixed with a apocalypse that could make you deaf. "Oh my God! What just happened?!" Adrianna's heart was pumping. She ran out of the bathroom and saw her big window was no longer a window but an empty hole which was so easy to fall out of. The New York lights were turned off and didn't look as pretty as it did in the night. "I don't know it was like a little round thing that just broke one whole window." Crystal replied. Adrianna's eye were wide open. Adrianna whispered, "was this my step-dad?" The other girls looked at each other scared. "No, no! Of course not Ade. You don't need to worry babe." Cynthia reassured. Of course Cynthia didn't believe her self. Adrianna looked down at her phone, it was left at "Sur," Adrianna looked at the time, it struck 1:27 pm. She deleted her message and retyped: "how about 2?"
Date
Adrianna felt alive with Justin. She thought, it's only been one date so why tell her friends. Adrianna applied her make-up and straightened her hair. She walked over to the table with all her friends and before she could sit down Brooke exclaimed, "Who was that text to Ade? You know you said 'how about 2'?" Adrianna blushed. "Quick make an excuse!" She thought. "Umm I'm going to have lunch ummm with my step-dad.. Yeah, my step-dad. He needs to give me a few things." The girls looked at each other with confusion. "Are you sure?" Said Ava. "Yeah it's gonna be great." Adrianna smiled because it sure is going to be great. "Don't be gone too long Ade. We called the hotel manager to get this fixed and room service will be here any second, make sure you come back soon." Cynthia ordered. "I will, I will." Adrianna smiled with joy, excited to go see Justin." Adrianna walked down the lobby and in the main entrance, no sign of Justin. He must be at the restaurant already. Adrianna ran in to the bathroom and got changed in to her date clothes that she stuffed in her bag. She wore a black fitted dress, up to her knees. The gathering on the side that made her look beautiful. Black heels and a side purse. She left her huge back in the toilets. Adrianna, once again, walked out like model.
Back in the hotel Cynthia felt suspicion. "Didn't Ade seem way too happy to go see her step-dad?"
"Don't worry about it Thia! You worry too much." Ava moaned.
"I see what you mean Thia." Brooke replied. She poured her self some wine and sipped it slowly while thinking.
"What happened to Justin? She lost her virginity to him? She hasn't even talked about him." Brooke implied.
"Oh my GOD! She's gone to see him hasn't she?! That boy is not good for him. He's danger." Cynthia cried.
"Oh stop being so nosey you guys. You're probably just jumping to conclusions." Ava continued to complain while throwing a chip in her mouth.
"Oh shut up, lets go!" Cynthia laughed.
"Where are we going Thia?" Crystal was confused.
"To her date." Cynthia smiled and was excited. All the girls ran after her down the lobby. Cynthia noticed Justin was gone from the bar. She glanced at the girls and widened her eyes towards Ava, in a way that she was right. "It all adds up doesn't it?" Cynthia smiled.
Meanwhile Adrianna was at the restaurant in the main entrance. She saw Justin from afar in a black suit and tie. His hair perfectly styled in a quiff and his lips so kissable. She stared at him in aw. Adrianna pointed over at Justin to the waitress but he instantly got up and came over to her, he held her hand and took her to the table. He pulled the chair for her and he sat down.
"You look stunning, Ade. You look beautiful in that dress." Justin couldn't stop staring at her body. His jaw was wide opened. He scanned her whole body up and down. "You don't look so bad your self." Adrianna laughed. the music in the background flowed with their conversation. The sparks were flying.
"All this just for lunch?" Adrianna was surprised.
"Anything for the lady." Justin replied.
Adrianna smiled. Justin gave her a rose. A beautiful ruby red that matched with her lipstick. It was a blood ruby infact.Their hands touched and Adrianna quickly pulled away. She took the rose under her nose and took a took a deep breath. "It smells beautiful."
"Just like you." Justin smoothly replied.
Adrianna was scared of this spark flying. "Are you alright short-legs?" Adrianna's mouth opened wide. "Hey! I'm not short. I'm perfect height for my age!" Adrianna cried. Justin chuckled, his laugh was the music to her ears. His teeth glistened and his eyes were too caramel and beautiful. "I was joking... short-legs." He winked. Adrianna laughed. Justin felt happy after a long time, he took Adrianna's hand and said, "would you have dinner tomorrow at my place?" Adrianna let go of his hand. "I'm sorry I can't. I haven't told any of my friends about you, they think you're dangerous and not capable of taking care of me." Adrianna felt embarrassed as she could see Justin was a great person. "Short-legs! Don't be scared. I promise I'll take care of you." Justin was getting worried. He really wanted to prove that he is capable. "I'm sorry I can't Justin." Justin let go of her hand and his anger was burning up. He was so angry that he punched the table. It was only loud enough for Adrianna to hear. She jumped and stood up. "I'm sorry Ade, I'm sorry. Sit back down. I get angry easily." In that moment her friends came bursting in and shouted, "Adrianna! Come on lets go. This guy is dangerou-" Before Crystal could continue, Adrianna walked ahead of them. Justin stood up to follow her but Ava stopped him. "Don't you dare." Justin sat back down. Crystal whispered in to Ava's ear, "well that was easy." Justin's heart broke. He sat back down with guilt. His anger gets the best of him. Adrianna got in to a cab with out her friends and went back to her hotel.
Adrianna ran to her bed and cried in to her pillow. Of course she didn't understand Justin had anger issues, only that he was dangerous and she was scared. The danger in his eyes only reminded her of her step-dad. She can't get back in this mess, she only just got out of it. She looked up to the ceiling and cried, "I really thought he was good, mum. I really did."
