THIRD PERSON'S POVJake looked at him.
"How are you feeling?"
Sunghoon smiled and held Jake's cheek.
"Happy..."
Jake nodded.
"I'm glad you are...."
Sunghoon just stared at Jake, memorizing his face.
"You're so beautiful...."
"And so do you."
"Stop. It's my m-moment.."
Jake convinces himself that he should not cry.
"Okay."
Sunghoon took a deep breath.
"I didn't thought I'd see you here again..."
Sunghoon looks at Jake.
"It's not like I was searching for that kid years ago... But it just surprised me... When I stopped searching, suddenly, you came."
'Kid years ago? Wait...'
Jake looked at him with wide eyes.
"Figured you didn't know it too... It's just that.... I was too affected that time... I really believed our promise.."
Sunghoon looked down.
"But I guess I'm the one who will f-fail you now...."
"I'm sorry...."
Jake held Sunghoon's hands on his lap.
"Sorry because when we're finally happy, I have to give up like this... You have to watch me and give me up... I know it will hurt so much to you...."
"B-But I hope our memories... I hope they made it to somehow satisfy you with your time spent with me..."
"I want to hold on longer.... I really want to now Jake..."
He looked at Jake's eyes.
"But I can't."
"I'm tired Jake... I'm so tired already...."
Jake nodded. He held Sunghoon's face.
"I know... And I understand."
"You don't need to apologize for it... You've done enough... You've fought enough..."
Sunghoon smiled.
"Please tell Jay about my letters."
"I will."
Sunghoon looked in front.
"Today's too peaceful isn't it? No stars though..."
He moved closer and rested his head on Jake's shoulder as he intertwined their hands.
