"Can you please remind me, why the hell am I here again?" Seojin sighed as she looked around the rowdy and crowd-filled place. Her brother just dragged her in this place as soon as she finished her homework and changed into a casual outfit consisting of a loose black shirt with an artistic print on it, faded skinny jeans and a pair of grey DC shoes with a hint of green.

There was a small stage set up in the center and at the back, there was a DJ who was switching up the music to pump up the crowd more than before.

Colorful lights were making her eyes hurt but it was quite a sight to see especially since the place was dark and nearly nighttime.

"Well, I told you that you'll be coming with me right?" Jin smiled widely. "We'll be performing so, you have to watch and support us, okay?" Seojin shrugged before following her older brother around.

Jin suddenly stopped, making the girl bump her head on his back. "Ow! Will you inform me if you're gonna stop walking? It's hard to see in front. I'm a midget compared to you." Seojin irritatedly complained. But the male just ignored her.

The pair of siblings was currently standing in front of a long, beat-up couch. There, his friends were sitting on the furniture, filled with swag and whatnot.

"Jin hyung, you're here!" Jin chuckled before smirking a bit. "Of course I am. I'll be performing alongside you guys, so that's a no-brainer." Seojin raised an amused eyebrow.

"Seems like even your friends don't want you here." She muttered quietly, making it for Jin to hear only. Unfortunately, someone nearby her heard her statement and snickered.

"Shut up, Jimin." The older male harrumphed before shooting his sister a glare which she just shrugged off. "I was only assuming." Seojin flashed his brother a shit-eating grin.

"I am not the least bit amused, okay?" Seojin snorted obnoxiously, crossing her arms. "I don't care. I just wanna go home. I'd rather practice than stay in this dingy place."

"Are you on your period?" Jin replied, his eyebrows furrowed. This resulted to his friends chuckling at their bantering.

"If yes, I'd gladly make you have my period in my stead. Sadly, you're born as male, even though you don't act like one. Who'd ever thought that a healthy male, high school student would have pink as their favorite color? That's absurd!" Seojin shot back, rolling her eyes snobbishly.

The other guys who were sitting on the couch cracked up, seeing their older friend getting humiliated by the opposite gender, for once.

It was rare for them to see someone, lest a girl, make fun of one of them. Especially when most of the female population were groveling at their feet just to make the boys notice them.

"H-hyung, who is she? She's f-funny." A guy with short, jet black hair managed to breathe out, smiling widely. He was wearing a black, leather jacket over a white printed shirt, a pair of black, tight jeans and black and white sneakers.

"She's my sister," Jin sighed, as he added, "Sadly."

This time, Seojin frowned. "What do you mean by that?"

Her brother looked at her momentarily. "Oh, you know what I mean."

"SISTER?!" All of them exclaimed, surprised at the fact that their oldest friend even had a sibling in the first place. They didn't know, after all those years that they were together.

"I haven't told you guys, have I? I always seem to forget." Jin stood in front of Seojin protectively, scratching the back of his head sheepishly.

"Just tell them the truth." Seojin crossed her arms, forcing out a small smile. "You just DID NOT want them to know, fearing that I'll be hit on by your friends." The girl shook her head at her brother.
