As soon as Nia entered her class she immediately start looking for her other friend Marie. Marie was in the back of the class with her face barried in an "English book". Nia swiftly walked back and sat by Marie, still in the midst of reading Marie didn't notice. Hey Marie, Nia said in a cheery voice. Marie looked up with a smile on her face already knowing who it was by the sound of their voice. "Hey girl, where you been" Marie said looking bright as always. Girl I was late, sorry I missed you and Tiara earlier. Marie passed Nia an English book as well so it wouldn't just seem like she was chitter-chatting. So I'm guessing Tiara told you about the party right. Nia laughed out loud lowly. What party, where's the party, and who's throwing it Marie, why did everybody hear about the party except me Nia said. Girl you should've been here when me and T was here Marie said smirking. You and Tiara blowing me Nia said chuckling. Girl, spill the tea, damn. Will the "Rough Rockers" announced that on the 31st there will be a Halloween party and it's gone be crazy and wild as hell Marie said. Nia thought back earlier, "I knew that all this time" Nia said. So why you asked and did all that for Marie said. It's a long story, I basically heard these jocks talking about it on my way to school. So, Marie emphasized, you not gone describe them girl, she said now intrigued. I mean they were slim, tall, and they walked kinda funny, not with a limp or nothing, more like a fast type of walk, I noticed all of them were walking that way. Marie's face instantly lit up. Do you mean the "Night Steppers" girl Marie squealed. I mean I don't know girl, Nia laughed, I only know how they look. Well I'm pretty sure you're talking about the "Night Steppers" but they're having a truce with the "Rough Rockers" and the "Finnesse Clique". Nia took all this in trying to digest all the information that Marie had just given her. The only thing Nia could do was take a deep breath and try not to pass out from all the information she'd just received. Nia and Marie started writing notes out of the English book and before Nia knew it, it was time to go to the next class. "Hey best friends" Tiara said as soon as me and Marie stepped into the hall. "Hey girl" we said in sync to Tiara.
