Prologue

She came into my world like the song on the radio, wasn't expected, but it managed to intrigue me. And then I would search it up further to look for its lyrics. And when I read the lyrics, I'd definitely fall for the meanings.

She sat at the front of the class, while I sat at the back. She looked like the color yellow sometimes, but I like her that way. The color yellow that shines so brightly, it annoys you. But you can't help but smile at the thought of it surrounding you, because it will give you such a happy mind.

I didn't interact with her that much, I barely knew her story. But we had most classes together. That was the reason I talked to her, because I mostly slept in our classes. And I took the chances to take notes from her. I remembered so well my first encounter with her, because I was this dorky new kid who brought my guitar to school.

"Are you the new kid?" She asked.

"Yeah," I smiled, I didn't smile because of her, it was just a friendly gesture.

"Are you joining the band?" She eyed my guitar bag that hung on my back.

"I don't know," I answered honestly.

"Well you should, because I heard the band needs a new guitarist."

With that, she walked away. I thought I was never going to see her again, but I never thought that I'd be in the same classes with her. Something about her made me wanted to talk to her more, she had this spell that caused me to flunk dramatically in order to be a normal teenage boy who was supposed to have the time of my life, hang out with new friends, playing soccer, busking, partying. But instead, she had me wrapped around her finger.

And I knew that she sometimes took a glance at me here and there. I knew that she had her eyes on me,

And I hoped she set her heart for me as well.
