Diluna had its fair share of favouritism between friends, debating the best princess in their opinion. More often than not, Princess Yoo had always made the top of the list in Dream Raider's. Pasted right there on a notice board behind the bartender, sat a yearly updated tally score of the patrons' most favoured princess. Princess Yoo had taken a comfortable spot at number 1 for three years in a row, only beaten one year by Princess Iye° due to a wonderful vocal performance during a local festival that year. It was very unexpected, and she had won the hearts of all.
A speculation to Princess Yoo's popularity could be attributed to her daily walks in the town on the early mornings or early evenings. Interacting with the locals had always been her favourite part of her day since she was 14.
Each princess had her own way of living their lives. While Princess Yoo preferred calm walks in the town, Princess Dami enjoyed penning poetry that resembled lyrics of song. Princess Iye adored humming self-made tunes while she enjoyed the aesthetics of life, with Princess Hyeon occasionally joining her. Princess Han hung around the people of the castle and made good friends with all the maids, butlers and even the cooks. She was rightfully adored within the walls, this being extended to the others as well.
But Princess JiU... She became an outlier. Sure, her hobby was unorthodox but one could claim she was simply enjoying another of the finer aspects of a life, similar to Princess Iye or Princess Dami. And that it was weapon ornamentation.
Amazingly, the princess' hobby had been picked up gleefully by the King, and all weapon wielding guards were armed with artillery ornamented with Princess JiU's hand-crafted designs. As such, she knew a sword in and out, its manufacture and- most importantly- how one is meant to be wielded.
