Tonight's feast was meant to be a getaway for the seven princesses of Diluna. Family meals were always prim and proper, and under the scrutiny of various high-ranked personnel. All seven princesses have always wondered why so many important people had to be present all the time. It seemed that their parents had always been somewhat arranged with people from abroad oceans.

Princess Hyeon had asked why they needed to be there, and the Queen had responded with shock that they did not know their purpose. "Why, of course it is for all of you to become acquainted with the business of running a kingdom, dear! Do you mean to tell me that you have not been attentive?"

After hearing the news, all seven grew anxious. Simply thinking about taking over felt like an enormous task. "I don't think any of us are ready..." Princess Han muttered.

"I am," Came the smooth and calm voice of the eldest, Princess JiU. She closed the book she was reading. "Unlike the rest of you, I've been paying attention. Did you know that we've lost contact with our now-enemy kingdom of Solumbra? A few commissioners had come to dine with us and left extremely mad and hastily," She sighed. "They didn't even finish their meal. How rude."

The other six princesses looked away in shame. If anything, Princess JiU was sure to take the throne once the time came. They were sure of it.
