Both of them sat silent for what seemed like years, as the bus went from stop to stop, people exiting and entering like robots, one after the other, over and over.
A woman, a man, a younger women with headphones in, a elderly who was offered a seat, two friends who laughed excitedly as they entered the bus, another mother and her two children and a college student.

Soon the rain dispersed, faded away to rain another day, the sky slowly clearing reviling the dull glossed moon, full moon.
By the time it reached 9:15pm the bus had been emptied to about 6 individuals, him, Ellie, a young women with headphones in, the college student and a mother and her child. Only him and Ellie were sat near each other as the others where spread - by coincidence- equally apart.

Though the rain had stopped the world outside the bus was still damp the nocturnal people relishing in the darkness, prowling the streets with no final goal. The bus rushed past a small cafe with only a employee and another persons sat at a table talking about there love forbidden by there families, a late night meeting, secretive and peaceful.
Another site displayed three friends chattering as they bundled there way down the deserted street.
Small rays of hope and warmth flickered against the mat blanket of blackness that settled naturally in the air, a lamp here and there followed by the spring shining from a window, a silhouetted child being held high painted as a memory onto the windows glass.

A broken lamp tilted dangerously and a 90 degree angle, a cat strolling the streets carefree and careless as it trips over its own paw, taking a face full of wet pavement before hurrying off, and swatting a quick glance at the road before crossing.

(~The cat was a striped black for your info~)

A window with a dull light displayed, reflected the humbled form of a lost man, forced into his home by the outer world that had betrayed him.

Highlighted on the street below by a flickering bulb was a pile of discarded bedsheets and clothes but under lay a discarded person hiding from the judgeful glances of eyes that they couldn't see.

Opposite was a spring against the winter, checks red and warm but not from embarrassment. It wore a small smile born to patch holes in cracked hearts. It was led onwards by a mother, under slight stress, but smiling in an attempt to keep the spring pure.

These two oppositions blocked from spotting each other across the street by rows of lazy cars, letting them live in different worlds.

(~I'm talking about the homeless guy and little girl [Spring]~)

(~Next is about Alice a character who will become more important later ;) [Alice requested I make her bus driver lol])

The bus driver was a women on the older side, her makeup perfect, her few wrinkles only adding to her senior beauty. She was a sarcastic, friendly person who can be serious and thoughtful when needed ; always willing to give advice of all subjects and was very willing to give relationship advice. (She was considered free therapy ;)
Alice and Ellie had know each other for a few months now, and she was the first person outside of school, that Ellie told about him. Alice shared her hopes and happiness over him supporting Ellie through her own special way. They were quick to bond and treated each other like the best of friends.

Now Alice happened to be the one driving the bus, the rear window positioned so she could see both behind the bus and the couple sat together near the back.
Alice couldn't not grin, excited to see how this perfect moment in time would okay out. She would make sure by the time they left the bus they would be more than just strangers.
