Out of nowhere, a throwing knife suddenly cuts through the hydro strings, releasing Qingxin.
Qingxin, seized this opportunity and threw his smoke bomb, engulfing the surrounding with gray smoke. Yelan managed to grab a hold of Qingxin before he could run away.
"What did I tell you? I won't let you escape." Yelan said, slightly coughing from the smoke.
Somebody appeared from the smoke and kicked Yelan away and grabbed Qingxin's arm, pulling him away from all the smoke.
"Why did you go without me?" The person asked, slightly annoyed.
"I'm sorry, Maze," Qingxin replied, groaning from the pain of being tied up.
The two of them escape and stop at a river somewhere in Lisha.

Meanwhile, Yelan is reprimanding three people who seem to be her subordinates.
"So, what took you guys so long?" Yelan said, irritated.
"It's my fault, Lady Yelan," One of them said.
"Wupei, don't try to pin this on yourself. Wenyuan, Shanghua, what happened?" Yelan asked while bandaging her leg.
"Wupei got ambushed by several Fatui agents." Shanghua said.
"And since you were the one chasing him down, we thought it wouldn't matter if we were a little late." Wenyuan continued, annoyed at Shanghua for interrupting his sentence.
"So, even though Wupei told us to keep going, we decided to help him." Shanghua said, interrupting him again.
Yelan sighed. "Somebody you three to us and helped Qingxin escape. The Treasure Hoarders are a complicated group, but the people that are holding this group together are the Platinum Ravens. I trust that you three know this information already?" Yelan asked.
"Yes ma'am," the three of them respond at the same time.
"Good, now, since Qingxin is injured, I believe they couldn't have gotten far fro-"
"Well well well," a mysterious voice interrupts Yelan. "Looks like the Valley Orchid really was here. You can really count on Qingxin's group for information."
"Boss. Looks like she's injured," another person said as he appeared from the forest alongside several others.
"It looks like we're gonna have a good time tonight. Let's make quick work of those three losers beside her."
"Wupei, Wenyuan, Shanghua, make quick work of these fools," Yelan said.
"Of course, Lady Yelan."

"How are your wounds, Qingxin?" Maze asked.
"It's fine, but how did you know where I was?" Qingxin asked while he was washing his wounds with some water.
"Jiang told me."
There was an awkward silence between them. Qingxin finished cleaning his wounds and put on his water-soaked clothes.
"So, were you able to kill Feng De?" Maze asked curiously.
"..." Qingxin looked at Maze disappointingly. "Seriously?"
"What? I'm just asking, I don't know."
Qingxin sighed, "Yes, I did."
"Oh, well, that's good," Maze said uncomfortably.
