I woke up on the couch in Jaylas room to my phone ringing.

Demi

Hello?
Hey baby did you have fun?
Yeah
Good. Well I'm on my way to drop off your stuff for practice.
Oh shit, I completely forgot about that or would have stayed home last night.
It's okay I brought all your stuff and your uniform you'll be fine
Okay thanks ma
No problem baby just come outside cause I have to get to work and you can drive to the field.
Okay love you
Love you baby, bye

I sat up on the couch just as Jayla walked in, " hey why are you up so early? It's 6:00am." She said sitting on her bed. "I forgot I had practice this morning and my moms on the way to bring me my stuff." I said looking down at my phone too see that my mom was here. "Practice? What do you play?" She asked as I stood up. "Softball" I said walking out the door and running out to my moms car. "Everything is in there" she said handing me my bag. "Okay thank you momma" I said hugging her through the window. "Your welcome I got to go". She said. "Okay bye!" I said running back in the house and up to Jaylas room. "Can I get dressed in your bathroom?" I asked seeing her still awake. "Yeah go ahead". She said.

After I was dressed and had everything ready I walked out of the bathroom.  "I'll see you guys later" I said seeing Kylee was now awake as well.  I walked over and hugged them both saying goodbye.  " ok well make sure to come back later cause we're gonna be bored with out you here!"  Jayla said.  " ok I will!" I said going downstairs.  "Bye Jess".  I said hugging her.  My mom and Jessica were friends in high school so I already knew her.  " bye sweetheart have fun!" She said squeezing me tight.  "I will!" I said going out the door.  I unlocked my car and got in.  I wasted no time starting it and pulling out of the driveway trying not to be late.  I drove to the field and got out of my car locking it.  I met up with my coach and my team and we practiced for a couple hours.   (Idk how softball works so don't come at me😭) 

As I was driving back from practice i got a dm from Kylee.

ARE YOU DONE WITH PRACTICE?!?
Yeah I'm on my way back rn what's up?
OK WELL WE HAVE MAJOR TEA TO SPILL WHEN YOU GET HERE

I pulled up to the house and ran inside. " hey Demi how was practice?" Jessica asked as I was talking off my shoes. "It was great actually!" I said smiling at her. "Well good!" She said going back to the dishes. I went up to Jaylas room and Kylee jumped up and brought me over to the bed. " ok, so your kinda freaking me out so spill it." I said looking at the two girls that both had a grin plastered on their face. "Alright so, me and Kylee were coming back upstairs because we were outside taking pictures and we heard talking in Jadens room, so we decided to listen in and it was him and wanna talking. So we sat there listening and I kid you not they were talking about you!" Jayla said excitedly. " what do you mean talking about me?" I asked super confused. " not like in a mean way but they were talking about Jaden liking you!" Kylee said hitting me arm. "His exact words were, I want to ask her but I don't know if she feels the same". Jayla said. "Yeah and then wanna said, I knew you liked her." Kylee said. "So what your saying is-" I was cut off by Jayla and Kylee, "Jaden likes you!" They said then started giggling like children. I was about to say something when none other than Jaden walked in and the two girls stopped giggling. "What are you guys doing?" He asked sitting on Jaylas couch. "Nothing!" We all said at the exact same time and then started laughing. " okay..." he said pulling a confused face. "hey Demi, can I uh, talk to you for a second?" He asked getting up and standing by the door. "Uh, yeah". I said following him to his room. "Um I was wondering if you wanted to come with me to the lake tonight?" He asked sounding nervous. "Yeah just as long as this isn't your plan to secretly drown me". I said smiling at him. He laughed a little sounding a little relieved. "It's not, I promise." He said smiling at me.
