Chapter 4: Detective on the Case!

"There's a detective industry near by! We should go there!" Yoimiya points in the direction of the place. "You guys can go but I'm not risking it" Error leaves to go...wherever he goes leaving me and Yoimiya alone. "Come hurry we should get there quick before something happens." She reminds me. We get up and head towards the building which is actually really small. We approached the place and greet the lady outside, Sanyo. "Hello, how may I help you?" She sounds more like a retail worker then a detective which is sort of strange but it's not like I'm one to judge.

"Hiya!" I greet her and Yoimiya does the same. About 3 seconds later Yoimiya is talking about everything that happened and why we need a detective to help. Sango replies "Something killing people in Liyue huh? Yeah that definitely need investigation but why did you come to Inazuma to help?" "I don't think there are any detective industrys in Liyue" "oh." Sango looks a bit embarrassed after that and walks into the building dragging a guy out with her. "Oh shut it Ryuuji. Your gonna help these girls out weather  you like it or not."

A while later

"So I can't really help you two within one day but I'll tell you everything I've found out so far! Besides what we've already found of course.." Ryuuji looks a bit shy talking about how he could help that much. "Oh no worries! I mean it is a bit ominous" Yoimiya says. "Thank you Yoimiya, you're too kind!" Ryuuji walks back to the detective office. "Yoimiya..?" I turn to her. "Yeah??" She turns to me, "Do you think..do you think we'll actually find the killer?" I ask slightly tearing up.

She pauses for a moment. "I..I don't know..but we can at least try!" She smiles at me and wipes my tears away. Ryuuji comes back out telling us everything he has on the case so far. We thank him and go back Yoimiya's house. I have dinner with her and her father, listening to her talk about just about anything made me feel at peace. Once dinner is over Yoimiya shows me her guest room and I lie down in the bed.

1:27 am

I lie in bed thinking about when I get back I'll probably have to bury both of Yanfei and Qiqi's bodys once I return to Liyue. Sigh, what a dreadful day. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. 

6:08 am

"HU TAO!!" Yoimiya Burts through the door and starts shaking me. "Uhhhph I'm up" I walk out of bed and get dressed. Being dragged by Yoimiya to breakfast and then outside. "So what do you wanna do today?" She asks turning to me. I've never really been to Inazuma and I don't know a lot about it so the only thing I could really ask her to do is show me around, and that's exactly what I say. "Hehehe OH! You're gonna LOVE today!!!" She excitingly respons grabbing my hand and running over to restaurant near her home.

"What can I get you two today?" The lady asks. Yoimiya answers first "Tri-Colored dangos please!" The lady then turns to me, "And you ma'am?" "I'll have the same as her" I've never had tri-colored dango before but if Yoimiya likes it I hopefully will too. We get our food and I was right, the dango is delicious!! Continuing on with out tour she asks me to wait for something she needs to grab from her house.

As I wait more and more time goes by and I start getting worried. I am one for surprises but this is getting concerning. I get lost around the village trying to find her house and end up on the outskirts of the city. A child runs up to me crying, "MA'AM!! Sob th-there are monst-t-monsters attacking my friends you have to help me save them PLEASE!" I do not want this kid to go through what I just sent through. "Of course! Where are they?" She grabs my hand and starts rushing me over to where they are.

When we arrive a little boy was trying to protect another boy and a girl with a stick from some hilichirls. I run over to the kids and stab a hilichirl in the side, noticing the actual threat to them all of the other hilichurls start to come at me. "ALL OF YOU RUN!" The children all run away and I can only hope back to the city. A purple mitachurl charges at me. I back into the water and before I notice all the water is shocked with electricity. While stunned all the hilichurls at once hit me with everything they've got and it all goes black.
