Months later
"I swear to God Chamber, if you placed another giant fake spider on the wall I will-"
"What?" Chamber asked her best friend Harrington. "smack you in the head." Harrington quietly finished.
She looked around Chamber's room and saw changes; well slight changes. The shelves on the southwest side, near by the her desk and the sliding door to the balcony are now filled with airplane models of different Airbus and Boeing aircrafts. There were also thick books about aviation, manuals, and maintenance on the middle and bottom parts of the shelves. On the ceiling were glow in the dark sticker stars and paper airplanes hanged with strings taped by the stars. By the northeast side of the room near the bathroom door, there are books about space, rocket ships, and even models of NASA spaceships and techs sent over to space. The TV stand cabinet also has models of different classic brands and with their years. The bed, couch, fireplace, and her desk still remained the same from the last time the Vagos were there.
"Damn Champ, since when did you furnished your room into...this. Wow." Harrington asked making Chamber chuckle. "Around like two or three months ago. I wanted a different atmosphere you know. Well the light is still as it but I placed some LED changing lights on there so there can be some...well...intensity???? If you know what I mean, in the holy way." Chamber replied making Harrington laugh at the last part. "Plus, maybe after I see the girls, I can finally be flying a plane or study to be an astronaut or something. You remember those dreams when we were kids right?"
Harrington nodded her head. "Yeah, and I was going to be in medicine, but shit, our family's businesses were in the way." Chamber laughed agreeing with her. "And Stanford as a psychologist, then Daven as a civil engineer."
"You also got Aimee as a medical technician," Chamber added.
"Oh yeah can't forget 'bout that. Remember when she told us she want to go back to the Philippines and study at that one very high standard college?"
"Jeez Christ she was head over heels on that college,"
Both of them started laughing about their talks as to what they really wanted to become. Soon as the laughter died down Harrington asked the question.
"Champ," Chamber hummed in response. "do you, well, I just wanted to ask, ummm, after all that has happened...with you, and well to us as well, do you still love the girls?"
Chamber's POV:
Do you still love the girls?
I bit my lip thinking really hard about it. I mean yeah I still do, it's just that, I went MIA for years, then went up as Zeus, then went MIA for months again. It's them that I need to know about if they still love, or at least care for me, after all that has happened.
"You don't have to say it if you don't want to." Harrington quickly added. I look at her dead in the eyes. "I do, still do. Always." Harrington showed a small smile then nod her head.
My phone rang making me look at the caller id. I looked at Harrington and showed my phone. She nod her head and I took the call. I placed it on speaker phone so Harrington can also hear it. "Hey Diana"
"Sire Darreth, before you go out to the world and be a licensed pilot, do you want to have a beach party at Santa Monica or something? You know as a farewell and a welcoming party as well, since you're fully back, but you're going away again." Diana laughed slightly at the end.
I looked at Harrington and by the looks on her face, it's a yes. I giggled then responded to Diana, "Okay, alright, let's have that party. But I want it to be private alright. I don't care if Darius is dead and that the Cifaretto are stuck in Russia being slaves, I just want to have a peace and quiet place."
