Just A Dance

Hermione and Ron were glaring at each other.

Ginny and Harry looked at each other nervously, they did NOT need an argument on their hands.

Just as Hermione was about to open her mouth and start a lecture, hundreds of owls flew in, screeching loudly.

The four friends looked up to see an infamous owl.

"Oh good lord." Muttered Ginny.

Errol was carrying an enormous box.

Hedwig and Pigwidegon chased him in, grabbing him with their talons.

Unfortunately, Hedwig wasn't strong enough to hold up Errol, his package, and one of her own.

Pig, being tiny, wasn't much help to her.

The three owls and two packages fell to the table.

Hedwig gripped her package and made a swift landing on Harry's outstretched arm.

Pig did his usual routine of flying around Ron's head and hooting happily.

Errol fell smack bang into an unsuspecting Seamus Finnigan's cereal.

Seamus dipped his spoon into the bowl and withdrew a milky, cheerio-covered, feather.

"Gah!" He cried, seeing the unconscious owl in his breakfast.

"What're yeh doin' 'ere Errol?" Asked the Irish boy, after overcoming the initial shock of almost eating an owl.

Dean snickered at the sight of his best friend trying to extract feathers from his bowl.

Harry's package wasn't incredibly interesting. It was treacle tart from Mrs Weasley.

Harry hoped she hadn't read the article in the daily Prophet.

Ron helped Seamus remove Errol from the cereal.

Then Ron opened his package.

"Mum's sent me a dress!" Cried Ron, pulling a garment out of the box.

"It does match your eyes." Harry teased.

Ron blushed.

"Is there a bonnet as well?" Harry asked.

"Aha!" Harry pulled a frilly collar out of the box.

"Nose out Harry!" Ron cried, though he did find it funny.

"Ginny, these must be for you!" Ron assumed.

"I'm not wearing that, it's ghastly!" Cried Ginny, screwing up her nose.

Hermione was chuckling to herself.

"What?" Asked Ron.

"They're not for Ginny. They're for you. Dress robes." Hermione explained.
