Chapter 6 The sorrows of victory

Dawn broke, though a different kind of dawn mainly for Dabi and Fat gum as they were in the process of absorbing Hawk's death, even if he was a traitor. Even Rumi was feeling it now, she had to kill her main friend and she knew if she didn't then she would be the one dead instead but there was always that lingering feeling, Jun who or whatever they were, was always waiting to strike at all and any quirk users no matter the cost. Endeavour sensed not everything was right at the moment with the adults and offered help as best he could while getting breakfast ready.

Even breakfast was quiet with the only noise being the clanking of utensils on plates and the munching of food but the blonde haired male teen now known as Katsuki was the first to speak "So what's next now that the bird bastard is now gone? Are we fighting right now? Still hiding? What exactly?" The red haired male teen Eijiro and green haired female teen Tsuyu wondered as well, Rumi answered with a slight annoyed tone "Firstly, his name was Hawks you ungrateful shit and secondly, we are always fighting, whether it's an actual fight or looking for a place out of prying eyes it's a constant fight for survival, I know that, you know that, every single quirk user that is still alive in the world right now knows that, we're all linked together by our quirks, good or bad"

All Might nodded in agreement and approval, Rumi was fairly new to the group but he saw where she came from even if killing other quirk users wasn't in All Might's resume. Rumi's eyes then fell to Izuku "You there green haired kid, about what Hawks told you yesterday, you pretty much have All Night's power flowing through your body cause of some experiment the facility you were in wanted to do, now you better learn to harness and control that power otherwise you're going to let yourself down and been even killed, got that?" She spoke calmly but she spoke the truth, the adults looked to All Might who simply nodded and smiled awkwardly "I've got a gym like area if you need to train in while you are sill here" Endeavour said to All Might but Rumi once again spoke.

"Then how about All Might teaches him to use and control it and I can be a sparring partner" she smirked slightly, fighting was definitely in her blood even if it was just training "R-Rumi there's no need, I will train Izuku" All Might replied.
"Yes you will, but only for using the quirk as for fighting I'll be the one to teach him, I won't go easy on him but I'll hold back a bit besides, if he's out in the world and has to fight and doesn't know what's what, then how is he supposed to survive?" Rumi was determined to train Izuku physically, All Might slowly nodded, she was right, Izuku needed to fight, even if it wasn't today he still needed to train. Rumi slammed her fist on the table with a huge smirk "All right then, All Might and Izuku meet me at the gym, the rest of you can train together whenever you would like but make sure you do train"

Izuku gulped slightly, seeing how she fought yesterday he has to admit he was nervous even if it was just training, Mina have him a light nudge "Hey don't worry you'll be fine and I'll be there watching and cheering you on ok?" She said with a reassuring smile, Izuku nodded feeling slightly relieved by Mina but he was still nervous. A few minutes later Izuku entered the gym with Rumi and All Might waiting, Mina followed behind Izuku as Rumi walked to the middle of the room, padded floor mats were in the middle, there arena so to speak. Izuku went to the middle with Mina standing next to All Might who gave Izuku a run down of his quirk and once he felt Izuku has learnt as least what he could he let Rumi take over as much as he didn't want her too.
"Ok listen up, All Might and Pinky over there are just spectators, they are not involved in this and won't be involved in this and you are to not be distracted by them otherwise we are not training, understood?"

"Y-yes I understand" Izuku nervously responded, Rumi could tell he was nervous which annoyed her a little bit "Look kid, this isn't an actual fight but as I said I won't go easy on you but still, you are to fight back and against me... now.." Rumi charged forward almost in the blink of an eye as she was already behind Izuku. He didn't even have a chance to look as Rumi held back her power a lot as she hit Izuku in the back with a spinning heel kick, knocking Izuku flying through the air, sliding across the floor as he landed almost crashing into a bunch of weights piled up neatly. Mina gasped in shock, mainly for the fact that Izuku could be hurt but also the fact at how fast Rumi was. Mina went to run over to Izuku but stopped as he slowly rose to his feet, slight fear in his eyes, yes it was training but he felt this could still go very wrong especially with the look of Rumi's face, this was only easy sparring for her but she was getting pumped.
