Chapter 2 A dangerous game

A/N: I know me saying sorry won't do much, so here is chapter 2.

Mina woke up a little earlier than usual, she sighed as she slowly got out of bed to go to the shower block. Once she undressed and got into the shower she undone the bandages on her wrists, soon becoming overwhelmed with emotion as she looked at the scars, she sat down and hugged her knees, unsure if it was water or tears though it soon became obvious "I.. have to.. tell him" she sobbed, she knew Izuku would be supportive but still didn't want to tell him. Once she got out of the shower and began making her way back to her room she was stopped by yelling. She picked her up pace and saw a ash blonde haired male teenager, standing over a cowering Izuku.

Mina knew the blonde teen was capable of creating explosions from his hands but that didn't stop her as she ran over and grabbed the teen by the collar of his shirt "Back off... or I'll melt a hole in that fucking head of yours!" She hissed, the teen smirked as he broke from her grasp, failing to notice that part of his collar was melted. He walked off without saying a word as Mina started to hear the sobs of Izuku. She knelt down and brought in him for a tight embrace "Hey hey shhhh shhh, I'm here, Mina's here ok?" She said softly, Izuku buried his face into her shoulder but didn't return her embrace. She held him for a few minutes before he started to calm down a little "He-he.. said I.. was useless.. that I.. don't.. belong here.." Izuku mumbled, Mina brought his head up to her shoulder, hugging him tighter as she could feel her own eyes getting watery as well as Izuku's now warm cheeks.

"Izuku, none of that is true. You will do great things, because you're not useless and as for you belonging here, well I need a friend, especially one like you!" She said softly, Izuku's sobs became fewer as he finally lifted his head to look at Mina, though he face was completely red. Mina slowly reached up and placed both her hands on his cheeks and smiled warmly at him "You've made it this far and you haven't let anything stop you yet! I'm sure you'll say the same thing to me.. though we should probably get going, morning injections" she said before grabbing his hand and walking with him to get their injections. Once they had lined up, trouble was happening already as the blonde haired teen was getting beaten up by 2 guards, the vial in his neck dropping to the ground, one guard soon lifting him up and pinning him to the wall.

He smiled at them through blood stained teeth "What's the matter? You both too busy playing with yourselves to give me a proper beating? Though why don't you do.. what you did to him.. shoot me.. SHOOT ME.. then you'd only 2 problems.. a used bullet and a pool of blood on the ground.. SO HURRY THE FUCK UP AND SHOOT ME!" He voice sounding confident despite the situation he was in. Another guard approached and put a pistol to his head, Izuku then stepped out of line, he voice shaking a bit "S-stop.. leave him alone" Mina and the blonde haired teen looked confused as one guard walked closer to Izuku, baton in hand "Did I hear you right? Leave him alone? LEAVE HIM ALONE? Well why don't we just put you in his position?" The guard said angrily then grabbed Izuku by his shirt collar and threw him against the wall. Mina went to step forward but 3 more guards ran over with one of them speaking "That's enough, a beating if they step out of line is fine, but you don't have to damn near kill them. Now we're running behind, so just a light injection then send them off"

The guard that had ahold of the blonde teen just stared at the new set of guards then grunted and walked off, leaving the guard that was with Izuku to inject everyone under the supervision of the other 3 guards. Once the teens were injected, Mina hurried off to her usual spot and sat down and just felt like crying. That was until Izuku sat down next to her, she rested her head on his shoulder, making Izuku blush a bit and nervously hum "I can snuggle closer if you like?" She teased, Izuku blushed more "I-I-it's ok, you d-don't have too" he nervously replied. Mina giggled a little "Thank you for this.. for just being you.. for helping me to be happy despite how things are for us" Mina said, her voice soft and calm while inside she just wanted to scream out about her scars. But she just sat there not saying a word as Izuku slowly rested his head on her's making her smile, they chat a little here and there for about an hour and Mina finally felt ready to speak up.
