It was currently 10:27pm and I was laying on top of a hill looking at the stars while listening to the music that was playing through my headphones I come up here to get peace and quiet my house is always busy and my family is too loud.

I get snapped out of the trance I was in when I feel someone come and lay down beside me I turn to see who it was it was my crush we have been best friends for over 3 years and in those past three years I somehow developed a crush on her.

"hi y/n" she said as she got comfortable next to me "hi what do you wan't?" I say confused as too how she found me "I wanted to talk to you about something" she said with a worried look on her face " what is it?" "well I u-um... you know what I'm just going to say this because it has been keeping me awake at night and I can't hide it anymore, I like you like more than a friend" she says with fear in her eyes "that's good because I really like you too like really, really like you" we stare into each other's eyes as she moves closer to me gently cupping my face pulling me in for a kiss I wished we could stay in the moment forever until we had to stop for air, we both fall onto our backs looking at the stars we move closer to each other interlocking our fingers.

She turns her head to look at me as she asks "y/n would you like to go out with me" "I would love too" I say smiling at her, we make eye contact as she kisses me once more as we turn our heads to look at the stars above us realizing how many stars are out tonight.
"It's a starry night tonight"
