Chapter 1 Where we left off...

Jude's P.O.V
I hear about Jesus, Mariana and Ana and at that moment I can feel a sharp pain in my chest. We where in the hospital waiting room and Everyone was crying even Callie, "it's okay Callie" I said, she looked up at me and wrapped her arm around the back of my neck and put her head on my shoulder "Jude even though I'm not getting adopted, Mariana and Jesus are my family" I said nothing I just sat there waiting on Mom's coming back with the news on the twins. "Are you hungry?" Brandon asked me "no thanks, I think I'm going to check on Mom's" I said. "No Jude there busy this now, there's too much going on. Listen, everything's going to be okay just stay calm and don't worry." I was dozing off to sleep when I heard a voice "hay guy's how are you's holding up?" It was Mom. She pulled a chair over and sat in front of the 3 of us. "So what's going on?" Callie asked, "well, Mariana has broken her arm and will have to stay over night, she's doing fine other than that. And Ana is okay." Everything went silent until Brandon broke the silence "what about Jesus?" Everyone looked at Mom. "He's.." A tear came running down Mom's cheek, she couldn't finish her sentence.Callie stood up and looked at everyone, "Mom?" She said. Mom took Callie's hand." he won't wake up, he's broken his leg and an arm." Immediately I stood up and ran to find Jesus's room whilst Mom chased me. "JUDE!, come back." I turned round and couldn't catch my breath I heard a loud noise and then...I turned round to find Callie lying on the floor."Callie!" She had slid on the floor and hit her head, "get the doctor Jude!" Mom said. The doctor took Callie into a room and wouldn't let anyone in. "Mom is Callie okay?" "Of corse she is Jude, she's just hit her head she will be fine." Mom gave me a hug and whispered into my ear not to worry. "I heard about Callie is she okay?!?" Said Momma running into the waiting room, "yes honey she's fine, just a little bump on the head that's all". "It's all my fault. If I hadn't have ran away from you's she wouldn't have slid whilst chasing me." "Jude no, don't say that, this is nobody's fault not even Callie's". I looked at Mom and I could feel tears coming down my face and she wiped them away giving me a kiss on the cheek. "Stef?" Said Momma "can I speak to you in private?" "Sure Lena 2 seconds" Mom picked up her bag and went outside of the hospital to talk to Momma.
