"My baby is so grown up now!" my mum embraces me.

I hug her tightly. Being away from home is great but I missed my family so much.

"How did America treat you demz? Come in, dianne is popping over soon anyway, she was so excited when I told her you were coming back. Nearly more excited than me! Always loved you to bits dianne did." my mum says, taking my suitcases and dragging them inside.

"I'll take it, it's ok." I say, taking the suitcase and leaving it on the staircase.

I don't say anything but I'm worried. I last came home in February, 4 months ago but since then mum has changed. She looks exhausted.
