You walk downstairs to see Adam. He looks sad, and is that alcohol? You say nothing knowing he gets aggressive easily sometimes. He glanced at you and gets up. He's been like this since you met him. You didn't know until Jonah told you. You freeze when Adam puts his hand on your shoulder. "Y/n." Adam said. You didn't reply, you instead grab the beers off the table and throw them away. Surprisingly, Adam didn't stop you. He just follows you and watched you do so. He wraps his arms around you and leans his head on your shoulder. You blush knowing that he gets like this easily. "Aw is someone tired?" You tease. He mumbles as you both walk your way to the couch. It's storming outside, so it's hard to detect whether an alternate is outside. Jonah walks downstairs and sees you two cuddling and he straight up DISAPPEARS IN THIS AIR. 💀. Anyways, you and Adam have a cozy and warm blanket over you guys as you cuddle. Adam kisses your head as you wrap your arms around him. He hugs you back and you both cuddle. Its been cold for days since the heater broke. Jonah, you, and Adam have been trying to fix it in the horrid storms lately. It's dangerous not only because of the extreme winds but also because it's hard to hear and alternate nearby so it gets scary. He  runs his hand through your hair and stares into your eyes as he smiles. You smile back and lean your head against his chest. It's calming hearing his heart pump as he cuddles you. He continues to give you small kisses as you cuddle against him. You run your fingers through his fluffy hair. He wraps his arms around you to keep you warm. THEN JONAH FUCKING APPEARS INFRONT OF YALL AND JUST STANDS THERE LIKE A TODDLER WHOS ABOUT TO THROW UP WATER. "Adam can I use the bathroom-?" Jonah asks. "Jonah wtf for the last time, you need to stop acting like I'm your parent. We are grown ass men." Adam replies. You chuckle because it's funny when Jonah acts like this. Adam tells him to go and to go back to bed. As you and Adam lay back down, you hear knocking. "Adam? What is that-" you say before getting cut off. Adam puts his hand around your mouth to keep you quiet. "It's here." Adam whispered.

Meanwhile in Jonah's universe-

I cover my mouth due to the knocking. That's a sign that they're are multiple alternates outside your home. I shed tears as I couldn't close my curtains . I was praying that they wouldn't see me. I rolled out of bed and got underneath it. Crying because this is the scariest moment in my life. They crawled all over the house. Mocking our loved ones. I know I'm safe. I fucking hope that y/n and Adam are ok...

Meanwhile I'm our universe.

I shed a tear knowing that they weren't just one but multiple alternates out there, waiting for us to make one small irreversible move. Adam is clasping onto me very tightly as an alternate moves in front of the window that has the curtains wide open. It peers inside and taps on the window. You and Adam are tearing up. It's horrifying. Jonah is walking down the stairs and clings to the dark parts of the house. He knows how these things work. Adam knows as well but Jonah knows more. You see Jonah and he tells you to keep quiet. The alternates bang on the door without warning, causing you to scream before Adam kisses you on the lips to muffle it. Jonah is mortified as the door swings open. He sneaks behind the door as the alternate creeps in. You and Adam freeze in fear as it looks at you. Adam plays dead when it looks away after a floorboard creaked. You didn't move. You were scared. As a distraction, Jonah tossed a light up music playing bouncy ball. The alternate shredded the ball in about a couple seconds. Which gave Adam a chance to grab you down and force you to play dead. The alternate is trying to disguise itself as Mark. You all know what happened to him. It made your heart drop. When the alternate got frustrated that no one was coming, it let out a screech of frustration and ran out with about 10 OF THESE MFS RUNNING WITH HIM. Jonah waited a bit before closing the door and locking it. Adam got up quietly and closed all the curtains and made sure that everything was locked and secure. They both looked at you. Shaking. Adam walks over to you and sits. Jonah leaves to put more security on the house. As you and Adam sit in silence he finally speaks. "Y/n, you could've gotten us killed." He said. You didn't respond. Instead you got up and stumbled to the bathroom. You lock the door and stare at yourself in the mirror. You wash your face and leave the bathroom. Adam wasn't there but his sweater was. You put in his sweater. It was nice and cozy. You see Adam walk back and he stares at you. Your scared and immediately start apologizing. Adam shoved you down and lays down. You both look at each other and kiss. He hugs you as you both fall asleep on the couch.
