"Knock knock" I heard I turned my head towards the door seeing Reese standing near the door way, I'm surprised I didn't know he was coming over here.
"Hey.. what you're doing here?" I asked him he walked inside of my dorm keeping to door opened because it was so hot I was in the middle of making my bed before he came, I put my pillow back down on my bed.
"Just checking up on you that's all" he said
"Oh, well as you can see I'm fine" I said he laughed and sat down on my bed, I stopped what I was doing and looked at him. Why is he here ? I am not to be rude but I really don't feel like being bothered especially by him. Reese is nice, respectful and someone I'd see myself calling a friend but the only thing that's holding me back from that is my anxiety, me overthinking that everyone that I would let in my life would betray me, it happened before and I'll be damned if it happens again.
"You ain't lying about that" he said I chuckled shaking my head and walked over to the other side of the room "too corny ?" He laughed
" yeah" I said
" I figured, but I just wanted to hear that laugh of yours" he said I blushed a little but quickly hide it " look Taylor" he said getting up from the bed and walking up towards me " I'm sorry for yesterday, I didn't know she would pop up like that while we was talking-" I put my hands up for him to stop talking
"Reese it's okay, it's not any of my business-"
"Can I once apologize before you start declining it ?" He said to me he stood up from the bed "look tay I know you probably want me to stop fucking with you but to be honest I can't" he said to me my heart started racing , I'm lost of words and mad confused I chuckled nervously I tried to look away from him but couldn't help it
"I- you don't even know me Reese" I said
" Let me take you out tonight" he said to me licking his lips, I'm trying to see if he was joking but clearly he wasn't I laughed again and walked towards nene side of the bed and started picking up her clothes from yesterday off the bed and placing it in the dirty hamper
" no thanks I have to study tonight" I said to him
" why I feel like you're dodging me ?" I turned around and looked at him in surprise
" I'm not-"
" if you're not go out with me then" he said " I promise you won't regret it" I stood here just thinking, last time we tried to have a decent conversation we was interrupted by one of his hoes and I be damned to feel embarrassed by him again but he did apologize and also told me that she wasn't anything to him so I guess I take him up on his offer
