behind the bookshelves (momojiro)

(not me literally forgetting if there's a library in UA lol. just pretend there is if there isn't)

jiro's pov:

i was really bored of spending time with the idiot boys in the bakusquad so i went to the library hoping to find someone else to spend time with. when i was going there i ran into momo.

"oh hey jiro! i was just going to the library to check out a new book series that i'm really interested in" momo said as she continued to walk to the library.

"oh i'm also going to the library but i just wanted to get away from my chaotic friends" i said as i walked slightly behind momo because i didn't want her to know i was just staring at her breasts. the rest of the way we just taked about which colors are better or worse than others.

when we get there and find the books we want to read we just sit there reading asking an occasional question or 2...it was kinda nice to have a friend that doesn't break something (item or bone) every week.

when momo finished her book i didn't realize she was staring at me. momo must've spaced out because she looked like she was thinking of something else.

when she came to she realized what she was doing so then she asked a random question "so..what's it like being the only girl in the bakusquad?".

"i'm not the only girl. there's mina" i reply putting my book down. "well, yeah but they must treat you like mina too if you're the only other girl" momo said. i'm starting to not like this conversation.

"u-um.." dammit! what do i say to her.."uhm.. not really?" i feel freaking stupid she's gonna know i'm lying.

"what do you mean not really?" momo said looking very concerned and protective. "well...uhm..they kinda...use me" i mumble the last part. "what?" momo said confused and concerned.

"they...use me.." i say a little louder. "what are they treating you like." momo asked very firmly. "they use me!" fuck i yelled that..is momo ok? she looks like she just saw a murderer.

"uhm..momo? are you?-" where is she going? i guess i better go after her. she suddenly stops. she looks like she realized something..

momo's pov:

has she been cutting herself because of them?! i stop and turn around. "i'm going to ask this once and only once. jiro, have you been cutting yourself.".

"u-uhm n-no?" that sounds like a lie. i look at the cuffs of her sleeves and i see blood. i quickly lift up her sleeve and i see blood covered bandages. most of them look new.

i know she has probably lost a lot of blood so i pick her up and run to recovery girl's office. once i get there i tell recovery girl that she was cut to save my time.

once recovery girl has jiro situated on the bed i get up and go to kirishima's dorm because jiro has told me that they stay there on fridays.

when i get there i stop myself from just busting in there and yelling at them. if i do this i will do this with a plan because i have no clue what they do to jiro for the most part.

i get my phone out and set it up in my pocket so it's recording the squad. i knock three times and i hear "one second". it sounds like they're putting something away very hurriedly.

the door is opened by sero who reeks of alcohol and weed. "whAddAyouWanTbRoO?" sero slurs.

"uh i would like to talk to.." i trail off seeing kirishima looking really scared and worried on his bed with a drunk mina on his lap. "uh kirishima! aizawa told me to tell only kirishima this. it's really urgent".

i'm either a good liar or they're just wasted. "fine but mAke it quIck we nEed him" sero says sounding slightly more normal.

i make sure to point my side that has my phone in my pocket in the direction of the room to see mina getting off kirishima's lap and taking a drink of whatever they were drinking.

once the door closes i take kirishima's arm and bolt into the common room.

"kirishima. i know that jiro is-she said she was being used by them and you looked like you were...very uncomfortable. and it smelled like weed and alcohol when sero opened the door."

"y-yeah and that's not even the worst part.. but we need to get out of here because they put cameras in the dorms and they might be watching us." i nod and run to the exit of the dorms.

halfway there kirishima stops suddenly and grabs my arm. "what?" i say panting. "i think i hear...we need to run faster i think they've caught on i can hear bakugo." i nod as run faster.

i start to see glimpses of explosions behind us as we stop at the entrance to catch our breath. i look at kirishima and start running inside the building. we were stopped by all might in his skeleton looking form.

"oh hello yaoyarozu (idk if i spelt her name right) why are you running?" i think i should take kirishima to recovery girl just in case they forced him to drink or do drugs but i definitely should tell all might. 

"ok, i have a lot to tell you but i have to take kirishima to recovery girl because of it..sort of. but i'll be right back" i tell all might.

 "wait why?" kirishima said who was zoning out about something. "are you forgetting what just happened?".it looks like it took him a second to figure it out. "ohh yeah but i can wal-" he was cut off by an explosion coming from the front.

"KIRI!! why'd you leave hm?" bakugo said. "young bakugo, why do you need kirishima because yaoyarozu tells me he needs to go to recovery girl's office." all might said.

 "oh he just accidentally cut his finger he's  fine come with me kiri" bakugo said. ok i need to step in now kiri is grabbing onto my arm like a shy child.

 "ok bakugo, kiri is not coming with you anytime soon." i say looking in bakugo's eyes as he starts looking nervous. "w-why not i think sero told you we need him for something and he's my fr-"

 "don't you fucking dare say he's your friend. tell me katsuki, do friends drug eachother without their consent or use other people for their personal needs?" i ask. 

"what the hell are you talking about?! i didn't do anything to him he's fine" bakugo said. "then what is this?" i turn my phone screen to all might and play the part where sero just let me talk to kiri. 

"young bakugo, what is this?" all might says as i replay the clip and turn it towards him. "i-we-it's not wh-" "and if that's not enough evidence, jiro told me you were using her and jiro can't physically lie." i said

"yes the hell she can lie!" bakugo said angrily. "need more evidence? jiro has been cutting herself and it smelled like alcohol and weed in the room." i said. "n-" "and they have been forcing me to date mina and putting vodka in her water every morning" kiri said. 

"ok young bakugo, i know they're not gonna just let this go. in fact, yaoyarozu go take kirishima to recovery girl and i will walk young bakugo to your teacher and explain what happened"
