The dwemer sphere rolls up to the top of the stairs, and stop a few inches away from me. I stand there in awe, admiring the enemy instead of running back. As the sphere brings his metallic hand down unto me, my housecarl Deyvenn Shields the blow for me. Deyvenn slashes her sword at the spheres head and it falls off as if it was meant to. While we watched the dwemer construction collapse no one noticed that we were surrounded by the dwemer spiders. There were three on each side of us. "Run through them!" I yelled. As we rushed through the spiders I saw of the workers fall to the ground with four spiders around him. There was no use in going back to save him, so instead we kept running.
As we ran we reached a doorway that leads to a hallway. Dushgal closes the door behind him, and I said to the depressed team "We have only lost a single worker so far, we must keep moving," one of the other Redguard workers moved to the front and replied to me angrily "Aragon was one of our strongest workers who knew how to fight, if he died that easily then we should leave now." Wendill, who was quiet while the rest of us uselessly argued said to everyone "We can't stop, if we don't continue, all of our work would be for nothing, so if anyone of you would rather face the rest of the spiders back there, go and try." After his speech he started to walk down to the hallway, which had three other doors.
With everyone slowly walking down the hall, Wendill, my apprentices, Deyvenn, and I started to examine the doors. Walks-With-Mages opened one of the doors and found some sort of office. We entered to find the scraps of two dwemer creations, and a big, gaping hole in one of the walls. The other two doors were just offices and bedrooms, so we continued into the hole. I saw Wendill on his knees praying again. Praying to the divines is useless right now when we have a mission to complete.
