Adrien POV
Volpina and I darted across the rooftops with civilians watching from ground level. As I tried to get close to Volpina, she always managed to slip from my grasp and lead me almost falling off the roof.
"What's wrong, Kitty? Can't keep up!?" She taunted as she leaped across the gap with The Miracle Box in her hands.
I growled and followed her, dodging obstacles and leaping over gaps. I wasn't long until we reached the Agreste manor, much to my surprise. We entered the door and saw Hawkmoth and Mayura together.
"Hello, Chat Noir. Or should I say Adrien?" He said.
"H-how do you know my name!? Where is my father!?" I demanded.
"Nooroo, Dark Wings fall." He said and transformed into my father.
"D-Dad!?" I gasped.
"Adrien. I'm sorry for not telling you about what I've been doing. You see, I became Hawkmoth to revive your mother. She was in a coma due to the peacock miraculous." He said as Mayura swapped back to Nathalie.
"Mum? But you said she disappeared.
"I only said that to hid the fact she was in a coma. The thing is that I have preserved your mother for years. And because of the peacock miraculous, she is like this. That's why I needed the ladybug and cat miraculous. To bring her back." My father said.
I was speechless. This was too much for me to take in. My father is Hawkmoth, Nathalie is Mayura and my mother is in a coma. And now, the only thing to bring her back was to give him the cat miraculous and the ladybug miraculous.
And betray the love of my life. I looked at Lila, who smiled back at me.
"First, I need to talk with Ladybug. Perhaps persuade her into giving me her miraculous. We can do this without having to hurt anyone." I said.
"And how do you intend on doing this?" Lila asked me.
I looked down at my ring and sighed.
"I'll think of a way." I said as I left to find Ladybug. After a while I saw her in an alleyway, changing into her civilian form. To my shock, it was Marinette.
Marinette is Ladybug. All this time, I was blind to the truth. Now, I know how to convince her into giving me her miraculous.
