It was the first day. All humans had gone extinct a few years ago. Many of the animals that had overrun the houses woke up strange. Standing up on two feet, speaking the dead human language and taking in the places of the species that once ruled the world. Not all animals had the effect, and the new beings took care of their brothers and sisters like pets.

The animals began to grow into the new places of humans, wearing the dirty old clothing and basically starting life from scratch. Research of the past began with the SHART (snakes helping at restoring technology) then the obvious change of the name to SHRT (better but still kind of sucks). It still took many years to get back up into todays standards of technology.

The doctors of the word then attempted to make medicine to feed to the animals who weren't lucky enough to take the place of humans, but each time they failed and started a mini apocalypse with the test subjects.

The year was 2050 when the famous Sweetie was brought into the world. Her perfect snowy fur with beautiful splotches of a dirty brown splashed all over her.

Around the same time Xenna was born. A British bulldog who's dream was to explore the world, and Sweetie set her eyes on them.

Sweetie was a celebrity. A dirty, dirty celebrity. Sweetie pretended to love Xenna, as a way to stop the fanboys and girls away from her. Sweetie never referred to Xenna with they/them and always said he when talking about them.
