I've finally returned home from spending four days at Casey's. I declined his offer to stay longer, I just felt like a huge burden. I stare down at my new wounds that covered my arms. Picking at the puffy red try-to-be scabs I remind myself what a waste of space I am. Soon picking at my arms turns into full blow scratching up and down my wounds making them bleed uncontrollably. I look at my now blood covered arms mentally cursing myself at my own stupidity. I stand up and walk towards my bathroom making sure to step over my new found friend Sky.
Sky is a German Shepard mix mutt I found in an ally behind Casey's house. She was abandoned and starving. Her blue and brown eyes made me instantly fall in love with her and I decided I couldn't just leave her there to die. So I begged Casey to let her stay in my room I was staying in at his house, and I brought her home with me. She likes to sleep by me and loves to play fetch and cuddle when your sad. Which for me wash as been allot lately.
As I stepped over Sky she awoke looking at me curiously and soon following me into my bathroom. I searched the drawers for the first aid kit soon finding it. I grabbed some bandages and clothes proceeding to clean and wrap my arms. As I finish I look at the time and decided to go to bed and attempt to get some sleep. I change into some green and black basketball shorts and a black tank top and crawl into bed. Sky curls up by my feet instantly falling asleep. I stare at my ceiling listening to Sky's little snores waiting for sleep's darkness to inclose me in its warmth.
