Young Fiona wakes up in the middle of the night. She is new to the world, can't even speak yet. She looks to the side of her tank and sees a lone salmon in it. Fiona is hungry.
Sally also wakes up at this moment, oblivious to her daughter trying to crawl over the railing of her crib. Sally has her own plans. She transforms into a human and hears a splash in her tank. Fiona had partially climbed the railing and had put her hand in to the now empty tank. Sally gently grabs her daughter and sets her back in the crib. She does not intend on taking Fiona with her. Fiona gently grabs her arm and bites down hard. Sally smelt like fish. Fiona wanted fish. Sally pried the sharp toothed child off her arm, leaving a drop of blood on the crib and the floor. Sally wraps her arm in her dress and makes her escape. Sally had planned to run away and unlike Fiona's plan to eat fish, her's would be successful.
The next day Wilbur walks into the nursery to wake Sally who was sleeping there to "make sure Fiona was ok"(read; not wake Wilbur when she left.) He noticed the empty tank, picked up her ring, and patted Fiona's head, while still focused on the wedding ring in his hand.
He walked out of the room and down to the kitchen, where he thought she might be having breakfast. She was nowhere to be seen. He was starting to worry a bit as he checked the rest of the house.
Panicking, he called Sally. There was the ringing of her phone still in their bedroom where it was on the charger. Wilbur didn't know what to do. He scared and confused. What had happened to his wife? He called Phil, crying saying Sally was missing. Wilbur then called Techno who told him to head back to the kitchen. Wilbur did. Techno told him about a small switch on the wall. Wilbur flicked it, a status chamber went off and Techno was now right outside.
What the heck Techno?
Tommy was called over too. Tommy was hugging Wilbur, who was sobbing uncontrollably while Phil and Techno tried to figure out what had happened.
Techno found the blood first. He wiped the drop of blood on the crib with his finger and quickly got a bad idea of what might have happened. He reached down and pulled Fiona's chin down to reveal bloody teeth. Phil walked up behind him. They both came to the same conclusion. Neither had to speak for the other to understand; don't tell Wilbur.
Phil picked up Fiona to go get her washed up while Techno went downstairs to comfort Wilbur, saying him and Phil didn't know what happened.
Tommy and Wilbur both came to the same conclusion; Sally had up and left.

Funny how that works, isn't it? The ones who know less got it right. Phil and Techno never said anything to Wilbur or his soon to be son. No one but Sally would know why blood was on the railing of her child's crib.
