The next day

Meggy's alarm on her (shell) phone went off waking her up she then change to a new outfit then headed to Mario who was still sleeping on the couch as she was about to put her phone speakers on blast to wake him she stopped and looked at her partners face she couldn't help but laugh at his face thinking it looks goofy and yet oddly adorable and she look at him that strange feeling in her chest started coming up she then broke out of her trance then continued to wake up Mario

She then was put her phone next to Mario while he sleep setting it off making a loud noise waking him up and landing on the floor

Meggy- morning sleepyhead time to hit the training ground

Mario greeted his friend found new training clothes waiting for him on the couch changed and snuck out with meggy thru the fire exit where he once again begin his training

Tari and Sai were sitting on a bench waiting for them

Meggy-Alright now we have 5 days till splatfest so today I want to see some improvement on your skills espicaly from you red got it

The team finished there stretching then started scattering around the area as all 4 filled there blaster they waited to see who make the first shot Mario found a nearby latter beside him and decided to climb up to get a view and just like yesterday he was able to see the others he tried to aim his blaster on tari and with just a little adjusting to his scope he had a target and just like that he pulled the trigger and hit tari on her head

Tari- HEY

Sai saw the shot and was shocked that Mario hit her

Sai- ALRIGHT WISE GUY YOU'RE MINE

She said with a furious grin then started running to Mario's direction he then escaped thru the same latter from earlier and as he was climbing down he was almost shot he turned around and saw it was meggy

Meggy- rats

Mario then tried to shoot back which he miss and now she started chasing him the second he got off the latter Mario then started running away from her then started jumping on walls try to hide but little did he notice meggy turned into her squid form and was following him while hiding and as mario was hiding on top of a nearby wall that was covered in graffiti and as he look around the area trying to be ready for an attack he didn't notice a certain someone was watching him thru the walls then suddenly meggy suddenly pop out of the covered concrete scared mario for a second then started blasting at him covering the front half of him with ink

Meggy- Woo gotcha Red handed

Mario- HOW ...... HOW DID YOU DO THAT

Meggy- do what

Mario- the walls how did you pop out of it

Meggy- well when I turn into my inkling form I can stream thru ink

Mario- so you can travel and crawl threw walls as long it's cover in paint
