Chapter 9

Dragio POV

"SHE WHAT?" I said screaming at Judas and Klaus who walked in my office. 

"She blew up her apartment and we haven't been able to find her since. She had a gun and we weren't expecting what we found" Klaus spoke up through clenched teeth. 

I rested my hands on my chin, looking at them both as if they were children. 

"How did you let a little mediocre secretary tie you up and get away?! I yelled at the imbeciles standing across from me. I loved my brothers, even after our parents both passed away and we inherited our company we've always been close. But today there was not a moment when I didn't think about killing them. 

"She's not mediocre or just a secretary, she's got skills of a fucking trained assassin and she wears different clothes than she does at work." Judas said, looking between me and Klaus. 

"You just like her because she let you have a sandwich and untied you." Klaus said menacingly and punched Judas in the arm. 

"Is that so?" I asked thoughtfully to Judas.

"Eh, yeah..uh.. she said she would be able to take me out easier." Judas said, looking at the floor. With this statement I burst out laughing. Maniacally like a madman. Both brothers looked at each other and back at me as if I had lost my mind. 

I grabbed my phone and dialed as I was catching my breath.

"I need some information, Jack." I said to my private investigator. He was the best and a little crooked. If I couldn't trust him, noone could. He'd be out of a job. With my name in the papers and how respected my family are there's no doubt he would hurt us. 

"Sure, no how are you, this must be serious" He said with a laugh as i hear him starting to type on his computer. 

"Sorry, no formalities. I need to look for Talia Renshaw and where she might be. Tell me everything about her. 

"Alright, I'll call you right back. Seems like that name has been on the news recently too. Just saw she had an explosion. Wouldn't be your doing would it?" Jack says laughing as he's typing in the background.

"Something like that, thanks talk soon" I say laughing and hit end. 

"Now we wait." I say to the boys. 

It wasn't long before Jack got the information back to me. He called and emailed me the spreadsheet.

I looked up from the email and knew exactly where to find her.

"Get the car ready." 

I watched her walk out of the house a few minutes after her friend left. She was different from how I had seen her at Dolscorp offices. Her hair was down to her waist and curled at the bottom. The lipstick she wore did something to me. I never thought I'd see such a magnificent sight. She was definitely not the mediocre girl that I had met after killing Baron Maxwell. I drove past her as she was walking and stopped at a red light. Looking through the rear view mirror I waited until she got closer to go through when the light turned green. She didn't notice. She turned into a bar entrance and I turned around. I waited a few minutes before walking into the bar and finding her eating nuts and drinking what looked like gin. I sat next to her and my plan had become successful. I asked to buy her a drink and she obliged. I slipped a roofie as the bartender handed it to me.
