"Fang Yuan. My name is Fang Yuan." He stated while giving a foxy smile at the end.

Because of his feminine looks, he looked like a troublesome little girl who just recently stole candy from a baby.

"Hmm, alright then Fang Yuan, I will now transmit to your brain the proper location of my whereabouts."

Suddenly Yuan (from now on I will start calling him 'Yuan' because using 'Fang Yuan' all the time is admittedly too tiring and troublesome to type) felt a headache that instantly kicked off and immediately disappeared thereafter.

After the slight ringing of his ears wore off, a vision suddenly directed itself in front of my line of sight. It was like watching one of those olden movies of black and white. A small opening in between two profound trees covered in moss was shown in the vision. It was admittedly a spot one would least expect that is being resided by an existence brimming with power; or so he thought.

The distance seemed to sum up on at least a dozen of kilometers but Fang Yuan did not waver for even a second and started making his way towards the exact place of confronting this 'Celestial Fiend'. Along the way, Yuan started wondering what kind of power will he obtain from the Celestial Fiend and for what cost. Just being a successor doesn't seem to be enough of a reason. After a total of 3 hours of walking, he was finally able to reach the exact location. Squeezing through the small gap, he was slightly relieved to find out that he was able to fit in properly. As he got in, he made his way inside the throne room and saw the skeletal figure sitting on the throne. After a couple of moments, its eyes began glowing with a faint white light, and started talking.

"I greet thee, my humble inheritor."

Fang Yuan slightly bowed his head. After that, he made no haste and immediately went into action.

"I don't want to be a jerk or something, but let's get started right away."

"Straight to the point huh, very well then, let us start."

"So, what do I gotta do to properly become your successor."

"It's not that hard of a task, yo- wait a second, how did you know about the test before having to completely inherit my will?!"

"Surely something as big as attaining power no matter how great or small, do not just come for free. You said it yourself right? 'You will be the carrier of my will and soul and continue the legacy of we, the Celestial ones.' which means all of you who had chances of becoming Celestials all needed to pass some test. Naturally some passed and became one, while others ultimately failed." Fang Yuan deduced.

Truth be told, it wasn't just because of the statement the Celestial Fiend said, Yuan was much more able to come to his senses after hearing the words 'successor' and 'inheritor'. In his previous world where Gu was the source of everything, he was someone who was able to obtain riches and power beyond one's comprehension through the help of the numerous amount of inheritances left behind by both Gu mortals and immortals. And although these inheritances differ much, in comparison they had one thing in common, there would always be struggle and commitment before truly obtaining the core of the inheritance. It was exactly to these tests that Yuan came to believe the saying, "the harder the test, the greater the rewards."

"..hmm, being able to deduce up to this much, It really was a smart move choosing you. Now moving back to topic, I shall now explain the contents of the test. Are you ready?"

Yuan gives a simple yet stiff nod towards it.

"The test is simple, in order to gain my acknowledgement of succeeding my will, you will be faced with three different trials whose difficulty does not differ from one another, yet almost impossible to achieve. You will be faced with dangers beyond the minds of psychotic mania, death can also be granted from taking these trial. Do you still wish to continue on taking them, young Fang Yuan?"
