June 23rd, 2012. 6:49 PM. Four teenagers were driving down the road surrounded by trees. They were the new camp counselors for this year's summer camp in Sunnyside Summer Camp.

"Shit," Connor cursed under his breath. "We are so late..."

The camp counselors were asked to come 2 days early to help prepare for the camp opening. The owner asked them to arrive before 6 PM, and they're running an hour late.

"Well, if Atlas didn't decide to eat a ton of food on the way here, we wouldn't have needed to do a pit stop at a gas station so he could let it all out in the bathroom," Camille says as she looks at her nails. Her tone and her face make her seem like she's annoyed.

Atlas raised his hands. "Look, I'm sorry, okay? You can't really blame me, we're about to stay at a summer camp for 2 months with shitty food. Of course, I'll take the opportunity while I still have it."

Camille sighs and rolls her eyes.

"Oh don't you do that to me! You all ate with me anyways, I know you all enjoyed it too!"

"Yeah, but we are not the reason we're running late to the camp!"

"All right, everyone stop," Connor interrupted the two. "What happened has already happened and we can't do anything about it. There's no point in arguing about it now."

They both let out a hmph.

Connor looks at Avery, who was sitting in the front seat. "Avery, did Mr. Fowler reply yet?"

"Nope," she replies. "I let him know twice already and he still hasn't seen nor replied to my message."

"Well, the reception at camp is really bad, so I guess we'll just tell him in person later," Connor took a right turn, passing through the sign that says "Sunnyside Summer Camp."

"Woah," Atlas says as he looks out of the window. "Crimson moon..."

Everyone looked outside as well. The moon is crimson red. It shines brightly that everywhere they look, it's crimson red.

"Huh, it's been 5 years already huh," Avery says.

"Y'know," Camille rests her back in the car seat. "This whole crimson moon thing is weird."

"Why do you say that?" Connor asks, eyes still on the road.

"I mean, the crimson moon happens every 5 years. And there's nothing even special about it. The moon is just... crimson red. Unlike other types of the moon, it's just there."

"I mean, it does look pretty tho," Avery says.

"That shit looks pretty to you?" Atlas points at the moon, eyebrows raised. "That moon is creepy as fuck. How can that be pretty?"

Avery shrugs. "I don't know. I just find it pretty, I guess?"

"Whatever floats your boat," Atlas says.

As they drive through the road, Atlas spots a figure of a large animal with wings flying in the sky. He squinted his eyes as he took a closer look. "That's some big-ass bird..."

"What was that, Atlas?" Connor asks.

"Oh, there's... there's just a big-ass bird that I see flying."

"Where?" Connor peeks at his window as well."

"There.."

"Connor, eyes on the road!" Avery exclaims. "Jeez."

"Right, right. Sorry."

"LOOK OUT!" Camille screams from the backseat and points forward.

The group looked and saw a flying animal (?) that was heading for the windshield. Connor immediately floored the brake hard. The car tire screeches and drifted a bit to the left. When the car stopped, Connor took a good look at the windshield and saw that it has a large crack. He then checks everyone. "Is everyone okay? Is no one hurt?"
