Ring!
"Alright class," the teacher says to his class. "That's our last class for this school year! Enjoy your summer break and see you all next year!"
The class got up from their seats. The room was filled with chattering students as they got out of the classroom. The noise of chattering finally then died out. The teacher spots Silver sitting at the desk located in the upper right corner of the classroom, typing on his laptop. The teacher got up from his seat and approached Silver.
"Mr. Perez," he says. "Class is over, you should be heading out right now."
Silver looked up and met his eyes. "Oh, hey Mr. Robins. Yeah, just finishing something real quick..."
"Today is the last day of school, Mr. Perez, no teachers are supposed to be giving out homework and activities. What could you be working on?"
"Oh, just some..." He shrugs. "Personal writing of mine..."
He sat there awkwardly.
"Oh, that's right!" Mr. Robins places his hands on his hips. "You wanted to be a writer, am I correct?"
He nods. He feels awkward being asked about his interest by his teacher.
"Oh, how wonderful! It's good to see that the students are passionate about their interests!"
Silver forms an awkward smile. It's clear that he's REALLY awkward about this.
"Is it okay if I read one of your works? I am very interested!"
Silver's eyes widened and he felt fear at that moment. There's no way Silver is showing his teacher any of his works. Silver didn't really have any original works published. His original works are all work in progress at the moment and he doesn't wanna publish anything until it's all finished up to the final chapter.
He, however, does writing commissions online where people would commission him to write for them. Most of his commissions are fics based on certain shows, movies, and anime. A lot of his commissions asked him to write MLM and WLW ships, smut, and even the two combined with smut.
He even did "research" by reading and watching anime, TV shows, movies, books, and manga of these genres. While it took him a while to get used to this type of work, he is now used to it and it's easy work for him.
Hey, it earns me money. Why not do it? It's harmless.
And this is the main reason why Silver doesn't wanna share his work with anyone, especially his teacher.
"Oh! Uhhh... I really c-cant..." Silver smiles awkwardly while talking. "It's uhh... It's j-just that I haven't finished it yet AND it's just the first draft so... Yeah..."
Mr. Robins slowly crosses his arms. He squints his eyes and looks at Silver. He then shrugs. "Yeah, that makes it understandable. Looking forward to it once you finish it though!"
Silver exhaled in relief. This was getting too awkward for him, so he closed his laptop and squeezed it beneath his arm and upper chest area.
"I... have to go now, Mr. Robins. Enjoy summer!"
Silver rushed out to avoid any more conversation.
"Oh, you too, Mr. Perez! Have a great summer!"
As Silver was rushing through the hallway, Jonathan, along with his basketball buddies, enters the gym.

Jonathan sat in the bleachers with the rest of the basketball team. In front of them were their coach and the basketball team captain, Henry.
