Claire sat under a tree on a grassy hill, overlooking the town of Arcadia, the energy of the streets was beginning to die down as the sun was setting. "I can't stay here forever." Claire spoke to herself. "I need to move, I need something new." She said both angrily and longingly. "'Papa needs me safe,' I don't know how many more times I can hear that before I explode! And Steve." Claire rubbed her hands over her face. "That brute's not going to leave me alone until I fall in love with him. So he'll be here forever." Claire wanted adventure in the great, wide, somewhere she was looking longingly at, away from the town. Her Father wanted her there with him, and as much as she loved him, she was getting sick of staying in the town and never leaving. "I want so much more than Dad and the rest of whoever has planned for me." As soon as Claire said that, she noticed a castle, surrounded by grey clouds, as if it were going to rain. She wondered at the palace, wondering why it was there, and who lived there. She stayed on the hill until the stars were out, and it was quite late when she reluctantly walked home.
