Tommy's pov

The old man holds me close to him as I cry. "Please, let me go." I mumble as I sob, "I'm afraid I can't, Toms." He said, I looked up at his face and he simply just smirked at me.

"Techno!" The old man yelled causing me to flinch, "Yes?"Technoblade responded quickly. "Can you get Tom's room ready?" The pink haired man simply nodded and walked away.

As I lay on the old man's chest I noticed he wasn't breathing, almost as if he was... dead. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a voice, "Toms, of course we don't breathe, We're dead."

A calm voice said, I looked up to see Wilbur. "H-how did you-" I was rudely cut off by him speaking again. "I can read minds, Toms." He laughs lightly, I got up slowly from the old man's chest and ran towards the spruce doors.

I managed to open the doors and get away, I ran outside and kept running I didn't once look back, I eventually reached a house, it looked abandoned and old.

I walked in and immediately realized it was the orphanage. "How may I help you?" An lady with a name tag that said Niki asked.

"I uhm, I'm looking for a place to stay." I said hiding my tail and ears. "Are you okay? You seem nervous." The woman asked, "I'm okay."I said quietly.

The lady smiles and begins to speak, "I'm Nihachu, but my friends call me Niki." I smile, "I'm Tommy, people call me big man or Toms, you can call me whatever you want though I don't really care what I'm called."

Niki smiles and nods. "Well then Tommy, shall I show you your room?" I nodded and followed Niki up the stairs.

Philza's pov

"Why weren't the doors locked!" I yelled at Wilbur who was trembling. "Sorry mate, im just very upset." Wilbur smiled, "It's ok dad there's no need to be worried, we'll find him."

I return the smile and get up, "Im going to go around town with Techno to search, could you wait here just in case?" I ask Wilbur with a small frown knowing he wanted to search with us.

"Sure, are you leaving now?" Wilbur asks with a smile, I thought I made it obvious I was leaving now, but I guess not? "Yeah Techno thought it was a good idea to search while we still had light."

"Y-yeah that makes sense, well have fun searching and good luck!" Wilbur said happily whilst sitting down on a blood red chair.

"Thanks. See you later Wil."I said as Techno and I walked outside and head to town to search for Toms.

Once we get into town we see lots of places markets, banks, a beach, schools, hospitals and more. "Where should we go first?" I ask Techno.

"I say, we stop at the market first." I nod and follow techno into the market area. It's loud and there's weird music playing, I see tons of children, but no a racoon hybrid with blonde hair and blue eyes.

We search the whole town and it leaves us with one place... the orphanage.

Tommy's pov

Niki and I finally reach the top of the stairs, she leads me down a long hall and we stop at a door that looked old and it's wood was cracked.

Niki opens the door, I step inside and see a room with a twin size bed, the bed has pastel yellow sheets and blankets with white pillow covers on top.

There is a plain oak dresser with a tv on top of it, as well as an oak dresser, with hangers in it and a light brown and yellow carpet. All the yellow made me think of Tubbo and how much I missed him.

"Do you like it?" Niki asks me snapping me out of my sad thoughts, "Yeah it's alright, better than how it looks in the outside anyway." I respond not wanting to start a conversation.

Niki smiles and let her eyes scan the room. "Well then, I'll let you get settled, you won't be sharing a room with anyone and I think that's it? I'll be downstairs, if you need anything come and get me."

"Alright."I say simply as I watch her walk down the hall. I look out the window when I see a person wearing a dark green cloak. They take off their cloak and I see, two antennas pop up and fluffy brown hair. Tubbo it was Tubbo!

I was glad he was ok and alive! But then I saw another hybrid walk up next to him it was half black half white and had red and green eyes.

I- Tubbo replaced me. I feel a single tear fall down from my eye I wipe it away causing more tears to flow out of my eyes. I hear a knock on the door I stay quiet then hear a voice.

"H-hello?" A small voice says. I open the door and look down slightly. "H-hello, can I help you?" I say looking down at a small girl with blonde hair she was also a hybrid a bear hybrid.

I wrap my tail around my waist. "I heard you crying and wanted to make sure, you were ok." I whipped all of my tears away, "Of course I'm okay, I'm big man Tommy."

The small blonde girl frowned, "I know that you were sad i might be young, but im not dumb."She mumbled. My face turns to a confused face, she almost looked sad.

"Even the biggest men cry."She says to me then hugs my waist tightly making me put my arms up and look even more confused.
"Well I have to go now."The small girl says, "Oh by the way, my name is Susie."She leaves me speechless.

I walk downstairs to ask Niki what good food places there are around here when I smell burning. "Tommy, get out of here quickly, the king set this place on fire run!" I shake my head and push Niki out of the building.

I run up the flight of stairs and hear screams of orphans, I get to one room and see Susie gasping for her breath. I'd grown a soft spot in my heart for this girl.

I grab a blanket and lift her up, then proceed to run down the stairs and wrap her up in the blanket I had grabbed from her bed. I finally found a way outside and when I got outside I ran to Niki, she was crying and sitting on the grass.

"Niki, I saved Susie but we barley made it out alive." Niki looks up at me then proceeds to stand and hold Susie in the blanket. "Why did you run in, and save her out of all the kids?" Niki asked me curiously.

"She helped me when I was sad and I guess, I grew a soft spot for her." Niki smiled at my response, and handed me Susie. I smile back and look around my smile slowly fades as I see Technoblade with a sword and the old man.

"I see you spotted King Philza and Prince Technoblade."Niki spoke quietly. "Y-yeah."I whisper I hold onto Susie tightly as Philza and Technoblade walk closer to us.

"Niki." She looked at me worried. "Yes?" Niki asked, "I'm going to run and I'm taking Susie with me." I looked at her then at Susie. "Goodbye Niki." I mumble, before running off hear Niki say. "It's not goodbye it's see you later Tommy."

I smile at her words as I run off into the dark forest with Susie in my arms and hear Technoblade and Philza chasing me. They weren't going to give up, were they?
