"Here we are." Meringue Cookie said as he lead the group to a street with plenty of theaters scattered around. "The shining lights of Bloodway. If Lychee Dragon could be anywhere in the city, it would be right here."

"That makes sense." Raspberry responded. "They have the voices of two of the greatest singers of our generation at their disposal, no way they would pass up the chance to become a star here."

"And knowing how much Lychee Dragon loves attention, they probably booked a show here." Meringue added, stopping in front of a theater. "This is the biggest venue on Bloodway, it seems fitting with how much they try to make a name for themself."

"Then what are we waiting for?" Espresso asked. "Come on! We must hurry and get Sundae's voice back! We don't have all night!"

"Right, let's go everyone!" With that, everyone headed inside the theater, aiming to get backstage.

Surprisingly, it wasn't that hard to get to the stage wings. As soon as the group arrived, they heard a voice that sounded way too similar start singing.

"Clear the way, center stage, hit the spotlight! Looking bold, sounding fierce, this is my night! Watch me ghouls through the show, the stage feels so right~. Stage freight!"

The group looked out to the stage, greeted by the sight of Lychee Dragon standing in the middle of a city set, singing their heart out with a voice almost identical to Sundae's in front of thousands of cookies.

"Whoa, they're pretty good." Financier said, shook by Lychee Dragon's admittedly great stage presence.

"They're pretty cheating." Rainbow Candy added dryly.

"We need a plan, and fast. The promise ceremony starts in less than an hour!" Pumpkin Tart said, checking her phone.

"So put a star on my dressing room door. Stand up, scream my name! Back for an encore!" As Lychee Dragon sang this, they pulled out the crystal. No doubt subtlety bragging about their victory. Seeing the crystal in Lychee Dragon's hand, an idea popped into Meringue's head.

"I think I have a plan." He told the others. "But I'll need some help, especially from you Pumpkin Tart."

"From me? Ok then, what's the plan?"

As Meringue told everyone else his plan, Lychee Dragon kept singing, blissfully unaware of everyone plotting to ruin their long-awaited moment in the spotlight.

"It's my first verse, vs everyone and I Won! Get ready for a standing ovation! Buy a ticket and off we go! I'm the next big stage sensation! Listen up, cause I came to steal the show~. Watch me steal the show!"

"Oh ooh oh. Oh ooh oh." Lychee Dragon was a bit startled by the unexpected vocalization. Turning around, they found the source of the interruption standing on one of the buildings from the set. It was none other than Cream Unicorn Cookie.

"Scat cat! Get off stage, hit the bricks, this is not right! You stole that voice and I'm here to pick a cat fight! Let it go, don't you know? On stage you're a freight~, stage freight!"

Lychee Dragon had to admit he had a much better singing voice and stage presence than they thought he did, but they refused to be upstaged that easily. They just needed to get to a place where Cream Unicorn or any of his other friends who joined the performance could get their hands on the crystal.

The one problem with that is the fact that Cream Unicorn was constantly pursuing them as he sang.

"They call you Lychee Dragon. It should be Lie-chee Dragon. The audience should run like you're yelling fire. Your real voice, is a caterwaul. No curtain call! Get ready for a singing violation! Get a ticket and off you go! I'm the next big stage sensation! Listen up, cause I came to save the show~, watch me save the show!"

By the time Cream Unicorn was about to finish the chorus, Lychee Dragon finally found a place where it would be safe to launch a counterattack, only to realize the crystal was missing. Nearly panicking, Lychee Dragon looked around the stage from where they were, only to see a certain sentient stuffed rabbit running away with it. The crystal was pretty big in comparison, so they struggled a bit. It nearly didn't matter though, as before Lychee Dragon could go after them, the stuffed rabbit was picked up by another familiar troublemaker. None other than Pumpkin Pie Cookie and Pompon.

"For a cookie with stolen pipes, you talk a big game. You may fool some folks, but it's pretty lame. Let it go don't you know? The stage is not your right." Both Pumpkin Pie and Pompon pointed up to one of the buildings. "See the light."

Lychee Dragon looked up to where they were pointing, only to see Cream Unicorn with a spotlight on him.

"No cookie loves the bright lights more than me. The spotlight is a prize, you gotta be ready~." From where he was, Cream Unicorn jumped down onto the floor of the stage as Pumpkin Pie continued.

"You're a phony."

"You're no Parfait."

"Take a catwalk."

With that, Pumpkin Pie threw the crystal to the other side of the stage. Right into Parfait Cookie's hand, returning her voice.

"Nice try dragonet with the voice jack! I've got friends looking out they've got my back. Now you know stealing the show is a crime! Unless you do it right~"

To prove to everyone the Parfait Cookie they knew was back, Parfait decided to let out a high note, being greeted by the elated looks on her friends faces and the cheers from the crowd.

"All right! You can try to imitate me copycat. But my voice is made of more than that. You can't bite my style, let's face it. You're just catnip. Get ready for a standing ovation! Buy a ticket and off we go! I'm the original stage sensation! Listen up, cause I came to steal the show~. Watch me steal the show!"

As Parfait finished, the crowd cheered loudly. Giving all of them a standing ovation. Lychee Dragon, not wanting to be upstage like that, quickly took off the ground and started flying.

"Oh yeah? Well, you're all soggy!"

Without Parfait's voice to help them, Lychee Dragon's voice went straight back to sounding like nails on a chalkboard. Upon the initial wincing of everyone in the theater, the crowd started to boo them, leaving Lychee Dragon in defeat.

Knowing they had very little time to make it to the promise ceremony, everyone left the theater, leaving Lychee Dragon by themselves to deal with the crowd.
