"What the gosh diddly darn hecc fricc was that, Kherplunk?" Domino swore.
    "DOMINO PHOLDING TCHERE!" Kherplunk screeched.
"I'm 15 now I, can say what I want," Domino said in a squeaky rebellious voice.
"s o a p t i m e" Kherplunk snapped her fingers and soap materialized in the air. She promptly snatched it and shoved it into Domino's mouth. He chomped down on the soap, as well as Kherplunk's forearm, with full jaw strength.
"Are you two done?" Jenga asked, looking incredibly bored.
Domino and Kherplunk slowly turned their heads towards Jenga.
"That is so incredibly rude of you," Kherplunk said like a mother chastising an unruly child. "We are not done yet."
Kherplunk and Domino paused for a few seconds.
"Okay,"  Kherplunk said, "now we're done."
"Thanks for the snack, Kherplunk," Domino said as he removed her arm from his mouth.
"Um, okay," Jenga said. "You never answered Dom's question bro. What was with the weird eye thing?"
She shrugged. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
"No, you HAVE to tell us," Dom begged, "Pretty pretty pleasey cheesy squeeze please"
"Okay." Kherplunk sat on the bed and motioned for them to sit on the floor. "STORY TIME"
"OOOOOOOoooOOOOooo" the boys exclaimed like a couple of kindergarten children. They each slapped their hands to either side of their faces and placed their elbows on their knees, eagerly waiting for Kherplunk's story.
Kherplunk snapped her fingers and a book appeared on her lap. It was entitled The Life of Kherplunk Goldfarb; Unsensational Psammophyte.
"Where did you get that from?" Jenga asked.
"My inventory," Kherplunk said, "now shh."
"Once upon a time, in a place approximately 100 miles underneath the crust of the earth and perpetually on fire, there was a demon. This demon (that was me) desperately wanted to be a completely normal teenage girl. However, the demon did not know how humans acted. She didn't know whether humans consumed souls in the middle of the street like demons did, for example. She needed to observe them. And what better way to observe them than to live amongst them as the most beautiful creature on earth; the potted plant. She became a simple psammophyte. Each day she observed many normal human behaviors, like drinking water, conversing with other humans, asking clowns for their autographs, and folding themselves into small plastic bins. Apparently,  no open soul devouring. The day she saw a completely ordinary teenage boy fold himself into a bin was the day she decided to integrate herself into human society. She needed to befriend this boy. She did what any ordinary teenage demon would do, and rewrote his and his closest friend's memories so that she had always been there. Every time they hung out, she was there. Every time they had a birthday party, she was there. And every time Jenga attempted to skateboard and utterly failed to do the simplest of moves, she was there. And that was the story of me," she hesitated afterwords, "We still friends?"
"Yeah, demons are rad. Just like me," Jenga exclaimed.
"My uncle's ex-wife was a demon, so I'm cool with it," Domino said.
Kherplunk smiled. "Thanks guys. What now?"
"Well," Domino said, "we did just get kidnapped. Do we wanna try and escape or something?"
"Sounds totally tubular to me, broski."
"So let's-" Domino stopped. He was looking at something behind Jenga. "Is- is that what I think it is??!?!!?!"
Domino hopped aggressively over to a chair. He attempted to hop onto it, but being confined to a small plastic bin tends to restrict movement.
"A little help, Jenga?"
"Sure thing, dude."
Jenga walked over to Domino and firmly grasped the handles on his bin. He lifted Domino, like a small cat, onto the chair.
"These are banned in my house. I've never even sat on one," Domino said. He seemed a little sad suddenly. "You know, speaking of home, I'm starting to feel a little homesick. Let's try and get out of here."
At that moment, the elevator door dinged and the kidnappers appeared. "Oh, Domino, you're not going anywhere."
