Giada didn't have to look far to find Hailey alone at the bar. If she were in her shoes, she'd need more than champagne to deal with their best friend's harsh words. "Hailey," Giada softly said to her, claiming the seat next to her at the bar. "Camilla's sorry."

"No, she's not." Hailey scoffed, taking another sip of her vodka on the rocks. "She's a real bitch when she's ready. A bitch who never lies." Hailey sadly said.

Hailey's eyes landed on Giada when she reached over and took her hand in hers. Giada hated when she cried. Additionally, she couldn't help but notice how stunning her blue eyes would become. With a single glance, Giada no longer recognized Hailey as the intimidating or unapproachable woman that others had described her to be.

When she looked at Giada, she couldn't help but fall under her spell. Willing to do and be anything that she asked of her. This wasn't that. With the way Hailey gazed back at her, Giada knew that it was going to take more than words this time around. Giada could sense the tension in the air and realized that she needed to make a grand gesture to win Hailey back. She took a deep breath and began to plan her next move. "No, she isn't my Russian Ice Queen."

Hailey rolled her eyes back to her drink as she pulled her hand away. "Don't try to sway my mind with your sweet words, Giada. You are the only one who gets to marry the person they love in the end. As Camilla said, maybe it's time for me to open my eyes."

Hailey's words twisted Giadas' heart. Not in the best of ways either. Giada's eyes welled up with tears as she struggled to keep her composure. She knew that Hailey's words would haunt her for a long time to come. "I love both you and Niko equally, and I will never forget what we have."

Hailey couldn't help but to laugh sarcastically, "What is it that we have Giada?" Hailey questioned sharply. "Other than that amazing sex, we will never be together." She looked at her with a mixture of anger and sadness. Hailey knew that she was right, but it still hurt to say it out loud.

Giada couldn't even look at her; how could she even say with a straight face. What they have is more than just a good fuck. "I hate when you talk like this." Giada mumbled,

"You hate to hear the truth?" Hailey looked at Giada, disappointed, as if Giada's response confirmed her suspicions.

Giada looked at Hailey and said, "What about anything that you just said is the truth, Hailey? I fucking love you. You're my soulmate just as much as he is."

"But is our love enough?" Hailey said, meeting her eyes.

"It's always been enough." At least, that's what Giada chose to believe.

"Then what about you becoming Donna? I don't want to get in the way of that if that's what you want." Hailey said,

"I guess I will be the first Donna with a Don and a girlfriend." She laughed and added, "I just have to explain all of this to Niko and hope he understands."

"Niko hates me, and you know that." Hailey said, "He'd never agree to this."

Giada stood from her seat, stepping closer to Hailey. Giada tucked some of Hailey's blond hair behind her ear Hailey's heart raced as Giada's hand brushed against her cheek. Causing Hailey to blush wildly as their eyes met. "I understand that I've put you in a difficult situation, but it's important to remember that people's feelings can change over time." Hailey's eyes softened as she listened to Giadas' words. "It might be worth having an open and honest conversation with Niko to see if there is a way to resolve any issues between us." Hailey nodded, leaning into Giadas' touch.

"One chance is all you get," Hailey stated firmly,

Giada smiled, "all I need is one." Sure, Giada was confident, but she wasn't stupid. She knew it wouldn't be an easy conversation to have with Niko, but she also knew it was necessary if she wanted to salvage her relationship with Hailey. "Tell me you'll stay."

Hailey rolled her eyes playfully and said, "Fine."

"Aw, aren't you both so cute." And just like that, their peace was ruined.

Giada turned around and said, "Violet."

"Piccolo paese sembra," Violet grins smugly.

Translation: Small country it seems,

"Not small enough." Hailey grumbled lowly behind Giada.

Violet glanced over at Hailey and chuckled softly. "Does the Don know about your little pet?"

"Come closer and say that to my face bitch," Hailey snarled, rising from her seat. Her eyes narrowed as she clenched her fists, ready to fight.

"Are you sure?" Violet added with a smirk. Enjoying every minute of it.

"What do you want?" Giada asked,

"You gone, or wasn't that already obvious?" Violet scoffed, "Niko was ready to appoint me as the Donna of Italy until you and your pack of heathens arrived."

"You were always the last resort, Violet." Hailey snapped. "Giada only needed to show her face for you to understand that." Who would have guessed that Hailey would be the one to defend Niko and Giadas' situation.

"Well, Niko never treated my pussy that way." Violet grinned as she stepped closer to Giada. "I don't like repeating myself, so I'll only say this once: leave town or I'll make you Giada."

Giada couldn't help but laugh. "You don't scare me with your empty threats. I'm not leaving town just because you said so."

"I was never one for making threats, Gigi." Violet said smugly,

"Good because you're shit at it, bitch." Giada smiled, her eyes darkening with rage as she brushed some of Violet's hair behind her shoulder. "I prefer to communicate my intentions through actions rather than empty words." Her words were venomous, and her tone was full of malice. So much so that even the once overly confident Violet created space between them.

Giada walked away, while Hailey looked at Violet and said, "Next time she won't stop me from beating your ass."
