chris pov

i go and purchase a ticket, no one is there so i do it myself, i go and stand in line when the nerdy boy is stood in front of me.

"wanna go in front?" he asks, you know what, fine, let's just get this over and done with.

"sure." i say making my way to the stage.

i start walking up the stairs when y/n is pushed out into the booth, oh wow. she looks great. she stumbles and falls into my arms, i catch her and move her to where she's meant to be.

i can't believe i'm actually about to do this, my brothers best friend, what the hell.

taylor's pov

i look out to where i just shoved y/n out too, wait what? chris is up there, she's going to get a kiss from chris! fuck, i messed this up.

y/ns pov

i stumble and someone catches me, the boy i'm kissing i guess.

"oh, umm sorry, woah you have muscles." i say, nervous.

i stumble into the stand and apologise again, this is so embarrassing.

"sorry this might not work, you were probably expecting olivia so you don't have too if you don't want too, umm so i've never kissed anyone before, it's not that i haven't wanted too but for example i pushed nathan jones in sixth grade because he leaned in to kiss me, i went to kiss darren riley but he sneezed and snot went everywhere!" i hear giggles form around me.

"sophomore year, chris sturniolos party, i was dancing with johnny max, you know a boring romantic song came on and i was like 'oh my god it's gonna happen' but umm it just..." i was cut off to someone placing their lips on mine, woah this isn't so bad.

the kiss lasted for about seven seconds until i realised something, wait!

i took my blindfold off, slowly, i was scared to see if it was him or not. the blindfold covered my forehead and not my eyes, my eyes were greeted by christopher sturniolos eyes instead, fuck, i just had my first kiss with chris! as i stood there for a minute it started snowing, great.

i stood there, staring into his eyes for a few seconds until we both leaned back in, i was kissing chris, my childhood crush, my best friends brother, my crush for over 6 years.

everyone was watching us kiss, i didn't care, we laughed during the kiss, it was a great time. our foreheads touching, chris and i immediately looked into the crowd, everyone began cheering.

"everyone... did everyone just see that?" i ask, i'm so nervous.

"yup!" chris says, he doesn't even care.

"oh no, kill me, let the world swallow me." i say in embarrassment.

"relax y/n, it was just a kiss." he says, but was it really just a kiss, did he not feel... anything?

a couple minutes pass a few more people are coming up and kissing but only a few, nick comes back.

"hey, i got lost!" he says, i start too giggle.

it hits 10pm, no one else was coming to the booth now so nick and i decided to close it early, we start cleaning and we turn the lights off when i decide to tell him about the kiss. how is this gonna go.

"so matt finally found a lover girl!" nick says, i giggle, nervously.

whilst he's giggling to myself i crack a joke.

"so turns out people really love to kiss!" we both laugh.

"oh and imagine this, i even ended up kissing your brother chris!" i say, laughing even more nervously now.

his smile drops and we stand there awkwardly, he nods his head, he looks really upset.

"what?" he says, his voice sounds like it's breaking.

"it's no big deal." i say taking a big gulp.

"what!" he says again.

"it's for charity, it's no big deal." i say hoping he'll forgive me.

"yeah? i guess so." he says and i giggle less nervous.

he nods his head and speaks up again.

"just don't end up doing anything else with my brother or i'll never talk to you again!" he says, harsh much?

"yeah of course nick!" i say as we begin cleaning up again.

we finished cleaning and found the boys before i said goodbye.
