It was hard to think of a plan when you're stomach is so loud it interrupts your thoughts.
Second Coming took a deep breath, it's been almost three days since he last ate anything and at this point he was ready to start eating the dust in his cage.
At this point he decided that sitting on the cold floor was the only way too keep himself grounded on reality.
Another rumble made him wince in silence, his stomach complaining about its emptiness. He didn't even hear the steps coming towards his prison cell.
─ Ready for a real conversation? ─ King spoke, a smirk of someone who knew he was winning the game.
Second Coming growled at him, almost as loud as his stomach a minute ago. ─ Fuck you. I don't have anything to talk to you.
The taller stickfigure huffed, his patience running low with how resistant his prisoner was.
─ All this pain you're feeling will go away if you at least considered my offer.
─ I. Would. Rather. Starve. ─ Second emphasized each word carefully, a aggressive tone at the tip of his tongue.
─ Oh, that is not going to take long. I heard the brutes haven't been giving you anything in a while. ─ The King walked away from him, towards a orange bag in the corner away from the cage.
─ Don't touch my bag!
But the King ignored, reaching inside and taking a single golden apple. ─ Someone has good taste for food.
─ Don't!
Second's stomach protested painfully loud at the sight of that succulent golden apple. ─ Please don't. ─ He pleaded quieter this time.
The King looked at him for a moment before looking at the fruit. ─ Do you want this?
He dangled the apple on the tip of his fingers in front of the cage.
Second Coming put one hand on the cold floor below him, focus on that instead of the pain, using all of his left energy to not tackle the fruit. It's a trap, he knows is a trap, but his stomach doesn't.
─ I will give it to you, if you accept my terms and work with me.
Another deep breath came from the shorter stickfigure, who was shivering and trembling now. ─ No... I don't... I don't want it.
The King looked at him for a moment, before shrugging and taking a big bite out of the apple. Second Coming couldn't stop himself from whining quietly.
─ You are one resilient bastard, I'll give you that.
─ Go to hell, King.
That got a small chuckle from the King, who threw the half eaten apple on the trash, not bothering to finish it. ─ Your self control won't help you here.
─ My self control got me this far. I'm not going to help you, so leave me alone!!
King looked at him for a moment, not a drop of amusement from his stone cold face.
─Very well. ─ He turned around again. ─ Perhaps, one of your friends will be delighted to help me.
The second Coming snapped his head back to the King. ─ Don't you dare!
─ This is all you fault, Second Coming. I'm just doing what you asked me to do.
─ King...please there's... there's a little bit of light on everyone... I know there is... You don't need to be the villain... Please! ─ The King ignored his pleads, walking away nonchalantly.
