"I love you so much, Mona." Vic mumbled while kissing my neck. I smiled with my eyes closed, feeling the sun on my skin and the breeze going through my hair. He had his arms around my waist, and we were sitting high on my tree. The sun was going down, and I started panicking. I wanted the sun to stay forever how it was, because it meant that I could stay here with Vic. I leaned back into him, cherishing the time I had with him. "Mona, do you love me too?" I smiled, and kissed him. I opened my mouth, and tired to say that I loved him too, but nothing came out. I tired talking again, but it was the same result. "Mona? Do you not love me? Mona?" I turned to him, and I felt myself slipping. I opened my eyes suddenly, and Mike and Tony were jumping on my bed. I looked to my side, and Vic was gently saying my name. "Hey sleepy head, it's time to go to breakfast." I sat up, rubbing my eyes, then asked, "What time is it?" Vic smoothed back my hair and said, "Its around 10 in the morning, Mona." I stretched, and looked at Tony and Mike who were still jumping and arguing about something. "Just do it already!" Mike shouted. "No! I don't want to do that while we're still on tour! And besides, I know the exact place where I want to propose to her!" Vic let out a whoop, and exclaimed, "Its about time, Tony! Rosa's gonna be so happy!" After giving him a hug, he suggested that we go wake up Jaime and Karina. The three of them started laughing, and after I got dressed, we walked to Karina's room. Mike opened the door carefully, and we saw their clothes strewn all across the floor. He turned to us with an eyebrow raised and a smirk, and we walked further into the room. We saw Jaime and Karina on the bed, Jaime hugging her, and Karina with a smile on her face. Mike looked at Tony and Vic, and they all nodded, then jumped onto the bed. The were hopping on the bed, and they both sat up, screaming. I stood at the entrance of the door, laughing, until Karina and Jaime finally sat up, aware of what was happening. "Good morning!!" We all shouted at them. They both winced, grabbing their heads. "Hurry up and get dressed! We're going out for breakfast! Meet us in front of hotel in 10 minutes!" We all walked out of the room, and walked down. We talked about how Tony was going to propose to Rosa, and I asked who she was. He smiled and looked down, but was clearly blushing. "She's my girlfriend who I met in high school. We've been together for a while, and I'm gonna propose to her soon." I felt so happy for him, even though I barely met him. "I guess sometimes you do get a happy ending with your high school love." Vic quietly said. We looked at each other, his eyes a dark brown, and I knew that even though he was happy for Tony, he wished the same could have happened to him. Mike jumped onto his back, and yelled at him to run. I giggled, because it was so weird that Vic was the older one, even though Mike looked way older than Vic. Tony and I walked together, and he asked me, "So what's up with you and Vic? He would always talk about you, ya know. God, you should have heard him last night. I was up for 2 hours just listening to him go on about you." I blushed, and I didn't know what to say. "Just please, don't hurt him again. He's my best friend, and he really loves you, so just please be careful with him. And I know this is biased, but I think you should be with Vic. He still really cares about you, Mona." I stayed quiet, and we met back with Vic and Mike. We waited about five more minutes before we saw Jaime and Karina walking towards us, both in sunglasses and with frowns on their faces. "I still don't know why you had to wake us up so early." Karina grumbled. "We couldn't leave you behind, best friend!" I loudly said while I threw my arm around her. I managed to get a laugh out of her, and she mumbled, "You just wait. I'm gonna get you back right now." We were in the parking lot, and she said, "We'll take my car!" Jaime shouted shotgun, and she looked back and said, "Oh, sorry Mona, you're gonna have to sit on someone's lap." Mike winked at me and said, "I'll take one for the team." Karina pinched his arm and he yelped. We all got into her car, and I ended up having to sit on Vic's lap. He put his arms around my waist, and I would be lying if I said that I didn't enjoy the car ride. After all five of them arguing about where they wanted to eat, they finally settled on a pancake place. We all entered, and I ended up sitting next to Vic again. We all talked, and I loved being with them because they never let the conversation die, and with Jaime's humor, it was hilarious. We ate and talked, and Jaime made a joke that made me almost pee myself. I had to go to the bathroom, and I looked at myself in the mirror while washing my hands. I still couldn't believe that I had found Vic and Karina again, after twelve years. I smiled and walked back to our table, But on the way back, I saw something that made my stomach drop. In one of the tables in the corner, I saw familiar brown hair, and I walked a little closer. "Mona? You okay?" Karina asked. I didn't answer, and kept walking. I reached the table, and it was Sam. Kissing a tall, skinny, blonde woman. "Sam, what the fuck?" I spit out. He looked up, surprised. "Mona?" I looked at him, seething. I was shaking and said, "Yeah. Mona. Your girlfriend. Or should I say your ex girlfriend." I turned to walk away, when he grabbed my wrist. "Mona, it's not what it looks like!" I looked at the table and saw a glass of water. I grabbed it, threw the water at him, and whispered, "We're done, Sam." I walked out of the restaurant, barely holding back tears. I ran to the car, and sunk down to the ground. I can't believe I was stupid enough to believe that he wouldn't do it again. I started crying, and I felt someone hug me. "Shhh, it's okay." Vic rubbed my back, and let me cry. I stopped after five minutes, and I stood up, and Vic just held me. The rest of them walked out, and asked if I was okay. I nodded, and put my head on Vic's shoulder. "Yeah, I'm okay." He put his head on top of mine, and I saw Sam walking towards me. "Mona! Let me explain!" Tony, Jaime, and Mike all stood in front of me, and Mike said in a low voice, "I don't think she wants to talk to you." Sam stared at him, and said, "I'm her boyfriend, of course she's gonna want to talk to me." He tried pushing Mike aside, and Mike pushed him back and said, "That's not a good idea. And I'm pretty sure she made it clear that she broke up with you." Karina stood in front of him, and spat the word, "Asshole." at him, and turned around. Sam put a hand on her should and spun her around harshly, and that's when Jaime got involved. He punched him, and said, "Don't ever lay a hand on her again, or I swear to god next time, its not just going to be one punch. Its better if you just get the hell out of here." Sam walked off, holding a hand to his face. Mike and Tony picked him on their shoulders and started chanting his name. When they put him down, Karina ran over to him and kissed him. "My hero!" She mockingly said. "You know it, baby!" He said before kissing her again. Vic and I stood back, watching all this. He whispered into my ear, "You sure that you're okay, Mona?" I kissed his cheek and said, "Yeah, I'm better than ever."
