"They're parents. They're all crazy."

~ royalty's p.o.v. ~

I stared down at my schedule and mentally cussed out the entire school. My schedule wasn't bad. I just hate being around people. I also hate that I have no classes with my best friend. I mean hopefully, we'll have lunch together. To be honest the worst thing that could happen is that my classes are filled with the people I hate.

I'm still pissed off from earlier. So what if my skirt is shorter than usual? I'm not gonna spend like 100 dollars on a whole new uniform. I have only this year left at this school before I graduate. I'm not spending that type of money on anything school related anytime soon.

I have so many unused school supplies from freshman year. So I don't need any school supplies. " money's tight right now". Ha! yeah money is tight my ass. I mean yeah I'm sure my parents could help out their daughter but let's be real. They want nothing to do with me and I want nothing to do with them.

It's a simple situation. Not that my home life matters. I'm in good hands.

I walked down the halls in search of someone. I scooped around the room looking for him.  A tall basic emo guy. Gene whatever the fuck his last name is. I usually don't hang around him and his crew but my brother deals with him and my brother seems to have a liking towards the dude. I swear if my brother is trying to set me up. I'm committing arson. And I mean it. Say bye-bye to your house ash, cause I'm about to burn it to ashes.

"Hey, royal, who are you looking for?" A voice spoke to the left of me "hm?" I bummed while turning to the left. It was my best friend. Nixie. She stood by a locker with her other friends, I glanced at them and gave them a look. I'm all for my best friend having other friends but no one and I mean no one will ever replace me. No matter what.

"Oh, you know...someone..." I said staring off into the crowd of people "oh yeah? Is it a certain light brown-haired boy?" She asked with that stupid smirk on her face. "Light Brown haired boy..? Huh. Yeah, no he doesn't have my interest." I stated while giving her a blank face "Aw but he used to have your interest, in your sophomore and junior year." She responded while crossing her arms over her chest.

I glared at her and walked away. Oh yeah, let's bring up the past. I don't care about that stupid light brown-haired boy. I never did and never will. I don't have time for boys.

I continued scanning the halls for Gene. At this point, I give up. I'll look for him after school.  I huffed and turned back around and headed to my last class of the day.  I yawned and turned down the left hall. If there's anything to be happy about this year; it's having the same art teacher again since freshman year.

I walked down the empty hall and walked into the empty classroom. I glanced around the room. Everything looked the same. I walked right to the back of the room and took my seat at the table that I've always sat at, I yawned again and folded my arms on the table, and rested my head on my arms.

I'll just close my eyes for a little bit.

~ Andres's p.o.v. ~

I walked into my last class. The room was empty and quiet. Well, it wasn't empty as there was another person in there.

The tattooed girl from earlier had her head resting on her arms, she seemed asleep. I looked around the room. It had random doodles on the walls.

I walked over to one of the tables and sat down. I wonder how my parents feel about me taking art. They probably won't like it. I sighed and slumped. I looked over at the girl. I think her name was royalty. Yeah, that's what Laurance said.

I wonder why her parents named her that. They probably treat her like a queen. I stared at her for a little longer. Her right arm was filled with tattoos. Not a sleeve, but she had random doodles scattered across her arm. I wonder why her parents allowed her to get tattoos.

I would probably get grounded just for talking about tattoos. I mean I don't mind. I think tattoos are hideous. But some people can pull them off. I looked away from the girl and stared at the whiteboard in front of me.

Where is everybody? Surely there have to be more people taking art than just me and the girl. Just as I was about to put my head down, people started to come in.

I kept my head down not trying to attract any attention. I'm tired of talking to people. "Hey, Andres" A voice spoke. I lifted my head and stared at the boy with light brown hair. "Oh hey...Laurance" I responded while sitting up straight "this is my friend garroth," he said while making hand gestures at the blonde boy next to him.

I gave him a nod and looked around. "I didn't take you as an art person," Laurance said while sitting in front of me I looked back at him and shrugged. "It's a little hobby of mine," I replied.

I looked at the ground for a while. Garroth and Laurance seemed to be having their conversation. I'm not going to disturb them. "Don't talk unless spoken to." Mother's voice echoed in my head.

"Oh hey look, I didn't know royalty was going to be in our class" garroth spoke, his voice slightly deeper than Laurance's "hm? Oh...yeah..." Laurance spoke, I looked up at them to see them looking at her. I looked over at her to find her glaring at the two boys in front of me.

Suddenly there was a lot of tension in the room.

This was going to be a long class for the rest of the year...
