Jungkook's POV:
I couldn't shake off the uneasy feeling in my chest. She hadn't come to school today either, and it was starting to worry me deeply. She wasn't the type to miss school, especially when something important was happening. The thought of her absence gnawed at me, filling me with a sense of dread and concern.
Without giving it a second thought, as the bell rang I went to her house directly. I couldn't risk me going home and then going to her, what if something had happened to her?
The route to her house was familiar, yet it felt strangely long today, each second stretching into an eternity.
When I finally reached her house, I was breathless and anxious, although I wasn't running. I stood for a moment, trying to steady my breathing and gather my thoughts. I approached the front door and without hesitating for a second, I knocked, the sound echoing in the stillness.
When she didn't open the door, panic began to rise within me. I thought maybe she wasn't home or perhaps in the bathroom, unable to hear me. But I couldn't convince my heart.
An uneasy feeling gripped me, and I knew I had to check. I called out her name, my voice trembling with fear, but there was still no response. Desperation took over, and without thinking, I pushed against the door with all my might.
To my shock, the door gave way under the force, swinging open with a loud crash. I stumbled inside, my eyes quickly scanning the room. That's when I saw her. She was lying on the floor, unconscious, with shards of glass scattered around her. The sight made my heart skip a beat, and fear surged through me.
I sprinted towards her and lifted her up in a bridal style and placed her on the couch. My hands trembled as I tried to assess the situation. I carefully avoided the broken glass, gently lifting her head and looking for any visible injuries. There was a small cut on her forehead, likely from the glass, but it didn't seem too deep.
I quickly bought a glass of water and sprinkled some on her face. Her face changes and she tried to open her eyes slowly.
"Arrghhhh...my head...it feels so heavy...I can't see anything clear." she said holding her head and trying to get up.
"Y/N am here, look at me, are you okay? what happened to you?" I said in a panicked voice as she looked at me with her eyes still half closed.
"Jun-gg-kook, how did you get in here? I was in the kitchen to have some water and suddenly I fell, I don't know how." she replied trying to gain her posture on the couch.
"First I need to dress that wound on your head, wait for me." I said getting up from the couch and went to get a first aid kit and a glass of water and then came back to her.
I made her sit in a comfortable position and then I sat face to face with her while handing her the glass of water and I began to clean her wound as she was still trying to process everything.
"Did you came here directly after school?" She asks, her hands in her lap intertwined.
"Yes, I was worried because you didn't come to school today too."
"Actually I am not well from the past two days that is why I couldn't go to school." her voice cracked, as I secure the cut with the bandage gently and finally looked at her.
"You should have told me." I said taking the empty glass of water from her hand and place it on the table.
"It's okay, I feel a lot better now, thank you for coming here if you wouldn't--"
