She walks alone. No one's there to give her a hug when she needs one. People laugh at her and call her names. They don't realize that their taunts have pushed her over the edge. They might want to stop, but they just don't have the courage to try.
They didn't know. How could they? She hid it so well. She put on a brave face and a smile to act as if everything was going to be okay. She faked her way through life and made people believe nothing was wrong. In the end, she couldn't lie anymore. It was over for her and she was glad to let go in order to be free of the pain.
Who are we to treat someone like that? You may not think you did anything, but look closely. Anytime you ever laughed at a "freak" or ignored a "loser" could cause that person to be one step closer to ending their life.
What makes them so different than us? Why label everyone? Does it really make us happy to call someone a "freak" or do we just do it to seem "cool"? Why can't we let everyone be who they are without judging?
That girl doesn't exist, but that story could be someone else's. She could be that lonely kid in the cafeteria or that cutter in your homeroom. She could be you. Don't let bullying get in the way of living life. Stand up for that person in your life. Don't wait until it's too late.
A/N
Bullying is a terrible problem that exists everywhere, so please try your best to stop it. Your efforts may not seem like much, but to someone else it could show that somebody does care!
