It is a beautiful Sunday morning when I wake up at the smell of bacon all the way from the kitchen. But I wouldn't have woken up if it hadn't been for my mother. She tried waking me up in a nice and normal way but that didn't work ,so she opened my bedroom curtains so that the sun could blurst my eyes.

Either way I am awake and  it's 7am. The first thing that I did was to go and brush my teeth then I took a shower and wore my comfy clothes, it was an oversized  shirt and my sweat pants. Then I went to the living room to join my family.

I found my sister (Faith), eating with my mom on the table. But there was something different about her I couldn't help myself so I took out a little laughter.

"What are you laughing at?" my sister asked annoyed. She kind of  knew what I was laughing at. She was wearing a long sleeve shirt and the longest skirt I have ever seen in my whole entire life. I know I might be a little dramatic, but it was trust me.

"Nothing", I answered as I sat down about to eat my breakfast

"What are you wearing?"my mother asked.

"A shirt and sweat pants", I answered in a confused expression, you know sometimes I forget that my mother doesn't like this whole thing of baggy clothes. I don't think there is any parent who does either way. I just wish mine did though.

"Since when does a person wear that to church?"

"Church? Mom I'm not going",shoot I have completely forgotten about this church thing, she had told us last week  so that we could be ready. I just never thought that she was serious either way.

"Take off those clothes now and  go put on a beautiful  and respectful dress for church!"

"But mom"

"Don't test me Angel, unless you want to starve and be homeless"

"Ok,ok but I'm not going there next week"

"Hurry up before we are late."

So this explains why I was forced to wake up and why sister is wearing all of that, now I also have to wear them too. I was so not up for this. When I was about to open my wardrobe and see what I could find, my mother barged in.

"Here ,wear this and please try to pace up a little bit ,we can't be late."

I couldn't believe my eyes it was a long dress that was longer than my sister's skirt and the worst thing is that it had old fashioned rose designs. This was worse than what my sister was wearing.

So I took it on and I looked like a granny probably around their 80's. My cousin who is more like my best friend should never see me like these because she would make sure to remind me of how I looked every second of my life. The only good thing that comes out of this is the fact that I'm not going to starve and be homeless, lol.

Oh and besides I'm just going to church it's not like I'll be attending a special event of my friends or something. I'm sure that there are going to be a lot of old people and probably people who are my mother's age.

When I checked the time it was 8:15am. I then went back to the kitchen to eat my breakfast at this point I was starving . When I was just about to enter my sister burst out of laugh. Now I was the one who was annoyed. I guess this is how karma got me. After eating we left.

*At church

When we got there the church service had already started. I was so not feeling this , send help. Ok maybe I'm just exaggerating.

Back to reality.

We went in and people were singing , that meant we couldn't take a seat. We joined in on the singing, at least I knew the song you know.
